  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

Exactly this. I would think for the Terra in particular getting together with a few big name overlanding/off-roading companies would be key. If I switch to a Terra, I want bed storage options (toppers, slides) that look good and integrate with the bed power sources. Traveler seems like a great...

I think the Terra buck has a tinted glass roof, but could be wrong.

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

The more I see of the Terra with 37s the more I wonder if that’s a better move for me than the Traveler. That is a really, really sharp vehicle. Also, Chris Benjamin did a great job!

Taking bets on the new color of the Traveler Concept to be seen soon...

The man’s a sadist, teasing us like this 😂

Excellent, thanks! Embarrassed I hadn’t found that myself.

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

Interesting. I’d think that Scout could build from the ground up to accommodate them, since they’re starting from scratch. Is there anywhere I can read about this? I thought I stayed up well on auto industry topics like this but apparently not.

Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

In the strongest way possible, I hope 37s become part of the plan. Only 2 production vehicles I know of with 37s are the Bronco Raptor and (iirc) an optional package on the Raptor/Raptor R. It’d be a big differentiator, and way more importantly, they look cool af!

Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

Ooooookay. Now I’ll have to decide between a Traveler and Terra. I was absolutely out on Terra (size, lack of truck need, wasn’t as enthused about the design as Traveler) but this is incredible. color is fantastic, and @CP1@scoutmotors whoever does y’all’s wheel design needs a HUGE raise.

I still think cabana top has a unique opportunity for a pop top that bolts on in place of the roof rack. Ultimate car camper, and can just rely on battery for climate control (snow, heat, whatever). Don’t have to have your kitchen inside, could just put it in the frunk and keep the back more...

Im more of a 37" tire guy, are we going to need a lift kit or will these squeeze in?

Hell, put me on that list. I can unroll tarps and hand people tools and I’ll bring my own food and beer!

    Charging while driving…Wild, irresponsible speculation...

What makes you say the gas isn’t top tier? Back when I lived in Texas (and cared enough to hand calculate mileage) I had to commute Houston to Dallas and back twice a week. Running buccees fuel got me an extra 1+ mpg in my old f-350 with the v10 triton.

Im more of a 37" tire guy, are we going to need a lift kit or will these squeeze in?

Echoing @SpaceEVDriver - it’s taken the Bronco aftermarket about 5 years to reach a decent saturation of options, and is still nowhere near Jeep levels. Worth noting that Jeep owners can finance a whole bunch of aftermarket parts through Chrysler Capital as part of their purchase, which has...

Im more of a 37" tire guy, are we going to need a lift kit or will these squeeze in?

I’ve been waiting for a production mule to compete in Baja as soon as that documentary was announced! But I think a Traveler with full cage and dual spares hanging off the back (on 37s of course!) would look really, really good… Hey @CP1@scoutmotors you know an EV has apparently never run the...

    Size comparison

First offroad trip with the Bronco, opened the drivers door directly into the point of a dead tree branch. Crazy how it actually made me relax knowing I had the first one out of the way.

I have one reserved for a trip to Utah in November. Wrote up my Hummer EV impressions a while back and will do the same with the R1S
