  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Want a Scout. Don't want the Drama!

Everyone has to do what’s in their comfort zone but I do have a question. I always have questions. Since this is a forum and they are asking for our input, besides ICE and a dealership have you posted anything else you want. Colors, interiors, accessories, delivery experience, etc, etc...

Having gone to Nationals last year I highly recommend it. Highly! It was a 6 hour drive each way and we stayed two nights. It was well worth it. It’s not just the new Scouts. They had the first Scout ever made and the last. They had a presentation where we all got to ask our questions...

This is what I picture. A reaper trim. Blacked out with red accents. Street tires, on air suspension so it can be lowered, no tire carrier or roof rack. Just sleek looking and screaming fast.

A fun tool to compare Traveler BEV vs. EREV routing

The embargo ends Tuesday it looks like. I would imagine we would see a lot of content then.

I’m only getting about 13 mpg in my Wrangler right now. Seeing all These comparisons with vehicles that get such better gas mileage I can’t believe it’s not going to be so much cheaper for me to go BEV.

Modesto Scouts | Colton’s Scout Collection & Updates

I got pulled over once for rolling a stop sign. While one cop was writing me a ticket the other was walking around my car asking me if I knew why it was so loud. My 17 year old self played dumb. I have no idea officer. Knowing full well one of those glass packs had a hole in it. 😹

Help me decide BEV or EREV

This is just me spitballing here, but when releasing a new anything wouldn’t it behoove that company to under promise and over deliver? I fully expect the numbers to be better than they stated at launch.

    VERO Scout Watch!!!!!

Figured I would post this here too. I had to get a smaller band. The one my watch came with was just too big for my wrist. Now I’m Scout colors!

Want a Scout. Don't want the Drama!

Hi! Everyone has to do what works for them. For me personally, it’s the Scout. I’m sold! But I’m also learning a lot on this forum. Seems like I learn something new everyday. I started with an EREV reservation and with all the education I got in this forum I have switched to a BEV based...

The new band I got is so much better. The other one was too big and I couldn’t get it tight enough. And now I’m Scout logo colors!
