  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

What Song Will You Play First in Your New Scout?

Fantastic choice. Really anything from them would be great. It’s a shame they don’t do CDs anymore because it would be cool for Scout to make a play list from all this nonsense and have a cool screen printed image on the music source and hand it to you if you do factory delivery. So far it’s an...

Welcome to the forum. We are getting feedback from Jamie who runs the forum via Scout Motors. Based on your info it seems realistic but we rely on him for clarification when he has management’s approval to share

    Route 66 Centennial Road Trip

Are you OK with Scout vehicles starting under $60K?

I heard they are doing a super stretch limo year 4 after launch. 4-wheel drive but clearance is pretty lousy 🤣

    Thoughts on Factory 37s

The challenge here is they are saying 12” clearance but wonder it that is with 33’s or the 35’s. The upper pic is definitely sitting lower to the ground. I should have measured the clearance on the current prototype

    Thoughts on Factory 37s

Not a huge difference and maybe it’s my lack of liking the rims AI chose for you but the 35’s do add a little more appeal as stance and height go. Will need to see in person to be sure

Consumer Freedom and Scout Motors in South Carolina

They don’t even make much on used cars. My wife is in banking and dealt with a handful over the years with commercial lending. It’s crazy the small used dealers survive. The larger dealers with both new and used do better but the margins are thin.

Factory Pick Up - Cost and what does it include?

Good point. And don’t forget to align it so you don’t forget to do it. That was one thing we goofed on when we bought out of state. Forgot about that
