  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Scout Patents

Based on a couple of images I’ve seen of the bench seat in the Terra. I’m curious if that box is part of the bench seat configuration I haven’t looked at the patent specifically, but based on the things I have seen it looks like it would be under the non-moving center seat of the frontbench

    Pets of Scout Motors

Our boys Peyote And Digit he’s the only reason we would consider a bench seat, since he’s only ever liked riding in my dads single cab Silverado

    CYURE GOES TO CHICAGO 12/10/2025

If you can get the hood of a ratchet strap through the holes you could probably still get a reasonable use of it you would just have to connect the hooks together to the straps

    New Scout Colors

What if silo green (and the other shifting colors) are just an option for reservations/first round production? I doubt that would be the case but silo green has grown on me and Im not big on green colors

    Jeep Recon

It seems like you’re referring to my post with the dirty thing, but I did say this, Also are all of the photos of your truck? That last one is really nice, was it captured with a drone?

    Jeep Recon

True but for most people buying a TRX or Raptor they’re not buying them to be trucks, they’re buying for the “cool/fun” factors I’ve never seen a dirty TRX and only Raptor R carrying anything in the bed, but it was always clean, and the thing in the bed was a bucket with a chain, they brought...

Traveler or Terra for Road Trips/Daily

It really depends on you and what you need. Personally the BEV Terra is perfect, I need a truck for projects and moving things, add a frunk and tonneau cover and I can travel with friends and still bring everything we need, then after I can load the bed with project supplies and move from them...

    Jeep Recon

The R1T might no be a full size pickup but with a quad setup it seems like a more than capable competitor to the full size sport trucks

    Jeep Recon

How does it compare to a Rivian R1 quad motor?

    Jeep Recon

And looking at people talking about the new TRX the general consensus seems to be that this new generation Stellantis might be fun in the short term, but are costly in the long-term, mostly do to service issues. I had a charger I put about 10,000 miles on it and got rid of it because it was...

    Launch Edition

If it was just the traveler something to reference the return of the “original SUV” could cool. I just looking at some video from the LA auto show and comment saying only “looks like bronco” had 5 replies of “🤦‍♂️”

    Launch Edition

Hardware wise they should be about as reasonably equipped as the concepts, with some options. We cant change our batteries or suspension after the fact, but racks, bumpers, or boxes can be swapped or added later

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Googling it just kept turning up Spanish or Japanese articles so I couldn’t find out much with a simple search, but it kind of looks like portable charger storage.

    Launch Edition

    It’s (loo-na-sa) Lunasa

    Launch Edition

IF Scout makes a launch edition would that call it “launch edition” or something more creative like “Early Bird”?
  18. RodorW

    Launch Edition

It’s entirely possible, but I would imagine it will depend on the quality and the want for scouts. Well not entirely the same and somewhat disconnected when Rivian launched for about 2 to 3 years I couldn’t find a single used Rivian locally or nationally using Carmax or Carvana.

    Launch Edition

Any discounts will just help solidify my purchase early and I’m for that, it’s more reasonable to expect growing pains from first year production. And no derail the conversation too much but what’s the mileage like on a 20year Jeep?
