  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Got it! 🤙🏻 I’ve got a feeling that this color will go well with some Gold/bronze rims.

@Jamie@ScoutMotors is this Silo color similar to the one that was on the off-road concept render?

    Big Community Event?

I wish I was invited to the reveal it would have been awesome. Fingers crossed they do something similar some day that we can go too! 🤞🏻

    Big Community Event?

I was at Nats this year and it was awesome. I love both Gas and EV vehicles. What I am suggesting is Scout Motors putting on an event and running it. Similar to the one they did for the reveal. All the videos and Pictures I saw from the reveal event looked like an awesome time and I think it...

    Central California Scouts

I remember seeing and R1T driving around town way before they were released to the public. Funny enough there are now a ton of Rivians here in the Central Valley. I wanna get everyone to switch over to Scouts! I’m currently working on that lol.

    Central California Scouts

If any people at Scout want to make it happen let’s do it. 😂

    Big Community Event?

I agree with you that it's probably too early to drive around the new ones. Maybe that could happen later. It makes a good excuse to do it twice, I guess! 😂 It would still be cool to have the new ones there to check out. And I think it would still be fun to drive around some Scout 80s, 800s, and...

    Big Community Event?

Who would like to see Scout Motors put on a big community event where everyone can get together, hang out, and check out the Terra and Traveler? I think it would be a really cool and fun to get all the enthusiasts together. Drive around some new and old Scouts maybe! What are y’all’s thoughts...

    Central California Scouts

If Scout Motors wants to give me a Traveler early to test out I’d happily help them! 😂

    Central California Scouts

No it’s not lol. It was 105 the last couple days and I was cooking in it lol 😂. Trust me when I get the new one I’ll be driving Scouts 24/7.

    Central California Scouts

It was a beautiful morning here in the Central Valley. Finally starting to get some cooler weather so more Scout driving days to come! Glad it’s not gonna be 105 for a while. lol

    Mystery Scout?

The headliner looks very similar to what some "Dull Up" 800 Scouts came with. Whenever you get the line-set ticket, if it says "Dull Up" on it, the headliner could very well be original. It might just be a little beat up.

Scout's Have a Great Day campaign is live

@Jamie@ScoutMotors I think it would be cool if y’all did a commercial/video on what it’s like taking a Scout 80/800, or Scout II on a camping trip. I think it would fit well with the short ads y’all have of the new ones in the wilderness.

    Mystery Scout?

Yes the scout 80 dash is very different.

    Mystery Scout?

Headliner does not look like it’s factory. From what I know the only Scout 800s that had a factory headliner where the Aristocrat and Comanche.

Scout's Have a Great Day campaign is live

Saw the ad this morning @Jamie@ScoutMotors ! Really love how y’all are pouring into the American workforce. Really great ad. Hope to see more like it in the future!

    Mystery Scout?

From what I can tell, the windshield, wipers, and hood look to be from a Scout 80. I've heard a story that International Harvester had some overstock parts from the 80 when they were switching to the 800 and used them on some of the 800s, but I don't know for a fact that the story is true. Do...
