  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

    “That’s messed up, right?” 🙃

What are you driving until release?

Have you noticed much degradation? Or just want a bigger battery? Or both? Just curious.

    Animal Kingdom

Cabana roof would be perfect for that!

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

I hadn’t noticed before, but it looks like there’s a huge overlap between the top and bottom parts, and the top part covers almost the entire space.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

same could be said about any number of world records, or for that matter, formula 1 racing :)

    Ideas for Scout Engineers

Well, one person’s insanity is another’s childhood fantasy :) But it’s a fair point, it’s not vital to have the profile button physical, as long as the adjustments themselves are accessible, like I find I need to adjust my mirror for some reason.

    Ideas for Scout Engineers

Good point, though it doesn’t have to be either/or, eg you could have 2 profiles assigned to buttons and additional ones available via screen.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Need that for drive in theaters, if nothing else. Digital solutions have lousy audio sync for something like that.

Every receptacle is a potential charging station.

This would solve a lot of problems; accessibility, mechanical durability, vandalism, aesthetics. I’ve seen a view articles and videos over the last few years of one company or another trying to jump start inductive charging, but no real momentum yet. 🤞

Scout Pricing and State Rebate Programs

I keep reading that as “slam yellow”, which would be a really cool color name :)

    Spare tire discussion

If your tires aren’t rotating, really what’s the point? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Scout Pricing and State Rebate Programs

Eg 59,999 and 59,998, just to name a couple 🙃

What feature(s) do you hope that Scout does NOT include?

I dunno if it applies to all vehicles, but it seems that the scout EVs were designed by people cooler than me :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

That’s not correct. NACS is an open SAE standard, it doesn’t require any association with Tesla. Using Tesla chargers might require some sort of approval/agreement, but there’s no “partnership” with them that I’m aware of. Technically, there’s no reason that Tesla should require an agreement...

PLEASE DO NOT DO AN EXCLUSIVE DEAL WITH STARLINK - NO MUSK

Having a NACS port doesn’t lock you in to using anything from Tesla. It gives you choices, which is the whole point of the request.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

But you don’t have to thread a needle when backing out. When you’re backing in, it requires careful precision, either to get between two lines you can’t quite see, or to be extra careful to fit in between two vehicles. When backing out, it’s generally into a relatively wide open area, you...

    Default volume setting?

    That’s a good idea, I hadn’t thought of that.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

Needing to back into a space is not an advantage, it’s an annoyance.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

Basically it’s better because if you use Tesla chargers, you don’t have to back in, if you’ve got street charging, it’s on the right side, and otherwise it doesn’t really matter. Literally the only reason Tesla puts it there is because the house that EM happened to be renting when they were...
