  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

    1) I’m not sure why the charge port needs to be near the motor, it’s the battery it needs to connect to. 2) In my garage we’ve got outlets on the opposite side from the garage door, ie the back wall, so it’s much more convenient to pull forward into the garage and plug in at the front of the...

Of course, things didn’t really work out too well for him 🙃

    0-60 times with harvester

IMOSHO, anything under 5s is overkill. I don’t think I’ve ever owned a car faster than 7s.

What feature(s) do you hope that Scout does NOT include?

Yeah, but I don’t want to fiddle with settings, and figure what settings I need to change and go through menus and crap like that, I just want to turn off the d@*# car! A simple power button is exactly what I’m looking for.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Ok, I’m picturing a new must-have feature: “alligator mode” where you climb up on the hood and the power frunk opener pops you up to the roof.

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

In my dream version, they’d put the charger where they put the harvester door. Could incorporate some cool graphics there.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

If basic functionality required an app, that’d be a dealbreaker for me. It’s fine for stuff I don’t really need, or things that make sense like remote monitoring or turning on hvac from afar, but if I have to have a working app just to use it, that’s just asking for trouble. But I’m sure...

    Rust prevention

Is it really a scout if it doesn’t have rust? :ROFLMAO:

To be clear, this is only because they didn’t have the authority to kill it in the first place. They’re just obeying a court order.

What one thing would you like to see changed from concept to production?

Who needs a spare tire when you’ve got bikes? 🙃

Did they have some sort of presentation or something? All I see is a couple short videos on their YouTube channel. Is there a link?

9 hours to get there, an hour to enjoy the experience, 9 hours to get back, that’s 19 hours. Just one day, right? :ROFLMAO:

    Vintage Scout Commercials/Ads

In my experience, if it has a motor, it’s at least difficult to open manually, but I’m no expert.

Saw that on instagram. One thing, the frunk opening was painfully slow. Hopefully that’s just a prototype issue.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

As the saying goes, “don’t feed the troll”.
