  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

Yeah-same here. Tired of judging on weekends but it will cover a lot of my upgrades when the time comes

    Schnauzers of Scout Motors

I’ve seen other do much worse but they are smart and if you don’t entertain them they’ll entertain themselves 🤣

Is there anything SM could offer to get you to switch from EREV to BEV?

Love me a good Kubota tractor. That one is cool too

Towing with an EV - Rivian R1S Style

Interesting. I wonder how they would regulate it. Whats to stop someone with an EV style trailer from plugging in or showing up with 2 chest freezers and plugging those in. I thought maybe you were doing a primitive site then plugging in to something you didn’t technically pay for (not judging...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Makes sense in beach communities and planned urban environments on the southern coastal shores

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

    Fair point. 🤣

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Wow-yeah-that’s nuts. They should be able to make those for like $20K based on everything the scout will offer at $60K. Rich folks who live in Beverly Hills?

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

That’s fair but the majority of buyers don’t want stripped and will buy Scout because it looks great and has a “cool story”. But this day and age I’ve worked hard and I do want those upgraded features. Had many a car with manual everything but when 95% of retail vehicles include these features...

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

Why the hell does anyone need a full overlanding set up on their scouts. You can pack all year gear in the frunk. That’s quite the pack job for all that gear

Towing with an EV - Rivian R1S Style

So you rent a space but don’t pay full hook up and since you don’t have a trailer they don’t give it a second thought? I like this idea just wrapping my head around it.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

Makes sense. But if too much included some people will argue it could have been cheaper or stripped down more. It’s a tight rope walk for sure

    CYURE GOES TO CHICAGO 12/10/2025

Rumor has it they are hiding the future open top lifestyle design there along with Jimmy Hoffa

Seems like it but don’t know how large that event is. But yes-the smaller venues are better-IMO

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

The trick there is Audi already starts with a lot of premium features-curious what SM will package in the $60K starter vehicles

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

Guess it depends on what features are included in the $60K model!
