  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Im more of a 37" tire guy, are we going to need a lift kit or will these squeeze in?

I’ve always wanted to put 35s on my Wrangler and I just haven’t. And my theory at the moment is you only live once and if not now, when.

And Daniel Ricciardo is Ford Racings ambassador. 😊. It’s an F1 thing. If Scout did go this route, what would it potentially be?

This is why I don’t start throwing 3rd party things in my vehicles. Especially while they are still under warranty. https://riviantrackr.com/news/the-hidden-dangers-of-third-party-adas-tools-on-rivian-vehicles/

Thank for the coffee -- Columbia, SC

Welcome to the community and yay! That’s awesome. @Jamie@ScoutMotors is someone taking pictures at these coffee shops to see the turnout and to be posted here. That would be fun to see members of the community out and about getting their coffee!

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Actually my husband and I were discussing modes the other day and would my Scout have a sport mode. That’s just not something I associate with a vehicle like this. I always have questions. Does the Lightning or a Rivian have a sport mode. I always think of sport mode as tightening up the...

I didn’t even think about that. What’s the proper term for the gas pedal in a BEV and is it any different for an EREV?

I’m just glad with my Scout I wont have to worry about things like replacing hood latches when the hood gets bouncy at high speeds. I like my new hood latches better, they look nicer than the OEM but it’s stuff like that I don’t want to deal with.

Option for no tire on back.

Okay I have a question. I’m not planning on taking mine off. For those that do want it to be removable what’s your plan. Run without a spare? Have a place for it inside your traveler? Have a place for it under your Traveler? What’s your plan?

If I would have been in the market for a Rubicon X this would be the time to do it. 😹.

    Big Community Event?

Ohhh like when they have the production models they could reveal those and have them next to the concepts for comparison. That would be “sick” as the youngs say.

I mean the discounts I see on Jeeps are nuts. They need to get it together.

    Big Community Event?

Interestingly enough while at Scouts I overheard a lot of comments and some people clearly were there for the old ones and I didn’t hear anything negative.
