From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Some kind of mechanical huge lever to engage and disengage the 4x4 on the outside of the vehicle.
Probably ridiculous and small take rate but I mentioned this on another thread. I see lots of videos of what I’ll call (I don’t know the proper names-so please correct me) Alabama mobile pools in the back of pick-ups-you know-some pond liner and 200-300 gallons of water. I think SM should run heating coils around the inside of the bed so I can bring the water up to hot tub temps. Maybe even a line from the air compressor to get the bubble action. I mean hell -mobile hot tub even when you are boondocking. They should patent this idea and hook me up with some Kudos. There were even some improvement suggestions. I think asking for anything and everything your heart desires is worth it. As @cyure keeps saying-faith and patience
A silent mode, so even when in EV only, the pedestrian safety noise can be turned off below 20 mph.
The idea is so nature trail low speed not making loud noises to scare away birds, and to not be super annoying while doing off road obstacles.
The Honda hybrids are very loud when at a stop in drive even. Avoid that please!

Explore the Ineos Grendier off road mode that turns off seat belt chime, and emergency braking for example.
Completely agree. The sound my Accord makes is terrible. I think a silent mode tied to gps to allow it to turn off when not on paved roads would be a great thing. Can’t imagine a bunch of Scout doing rock crawling while a handful of celestial angels whine in the background

I would love to see Red Leather seats as an option. A dark grey exterior and red leather seats with black or white stitching would be sick!! Don't really see that much now days. Or a Blue leather option. Navy or Royal. Maybe! I think that would be pretty sick!

I'd like a new video commercial on the scout motors YouTube channel of the Terra being tough and take no BS mean.. not heritage heart warming. It needs to conquer nature.. not be.. golly g.. I made it through nature with a high five. Something with balls. Make a guy respect the star athlete.. they kinda did it.. but it's only half throttle. They only have a slim opportunity to go balls out.

Go the evil route with the terra. Good cop bad cop. Let the traveler be the good guy. The heritage blah blah is cool . But the Terra can be a badass machine. Raise from the dead like.

I appreciate red but not my thing. I like Mazdas reddish-terra cotta color. Acura offers (or did) a dark navy interior with white stitching and it was AMAZING!

The creative director at Scout Motors needs to step down. (I don't believe in tattoos). I put my art on a something more appropriate. Stevie Ray Vaughn was a better guitar player that Jimmy Hendrix, but was he more creative? I personally don't think he was more creative but look at him go.

So because someone has a tattoo you aren’t going to buy a Scout? Or they should just step down because of the tattoo? He’s the CREATIVE director-if anyone SHOULD have a tattoo it’s him. So happy you shared that with all of us!
It's okay to keep some thoughts to yourself. A little self-editing is a good thing. I suspect there are many openings in your social calendar.
