Scout Traveler SUV Green Off-Road Concept

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Me: Hey Scout, you should really do a sage green color! Make it look something like what's on the 1960 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato. Also here's a GenAi image of what I'm talking about!

@Jamie@ScoutMotors: You all have been asking for more colors...this concept features a retro-inspired green color...

Me: Well shit, guess I have to buy it now. :ROFLMAO:

Saw this concept on Pinterest today and it was labeled Landrover. It’s cool but imagine if Scout would’ve went this direction????View attachment 6987
Yeah, no thanks.

Before the reveal my son kept saying there’s no way it’s going to have 35s and a tire carrier. I just kept telling him you never know. They might do it. 😹. I’m so glad they designed it the way they did. If it was that above it would have been back to the drawing board.

Hi all!

This concept features a retro-inspired green color, 18” concept wheels, concept accessory running boards, roof rack, and different front and rear bumpers. Plus the front bumper shows a concept bull bar and winch design. These explorations give a preview of some of the things our teams have been working on. No guarantee that all will be produced, but we’d love to hear your feedback.

I love this green, it looks great! I think a deep Hunter Green would look amazing too and really bring out that classic, rugged feel. Keep up the great work!

I think the SM goal, if I read between the lines this far is to modernize the original colors so maybe a dark green but I would guess there will be only one green initially and maybe in time they’ll change it out with a different shade like a modern British/forest green

I hate truck or SUV (or whatever that is... maybe a Panamera on mud chuckers) that eliminate the box in the back by adding the sloped rear hatch... Makes not sense to me for something that is supposed to be utilitarian and eliminates so muck cargo space.

That said I dig that color green. Its a classy / outdoorsy shade of green. Would love to see what that would look like on the Terra.

I like the overall package - black 18s, running boards, roof rack, bumpers with bull bar and winch mount / mount. My take is that this would likely be a package a lot of people would opt for, even if just because it's a cool appearance. I think it would be beneficial for it to be available as a package with or without the green paint color though.

Edit: Also, if that bull bar ends up being a part of the final offering, it would be beneficial to include 2-4 tabs that people could use to mount their own aftermarket LED off road lights. KC, Hella, ChinalightbarCo, etc.
