Scout Color Poll #1

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Welcome to the slick scoutty club. If anyone gets the reference behind it bonus to you! I’m sure everyone has watched the guy at least once in their lifetime.
Thank you! Actually just traded in my Bronco Wildtrak for a used Tesla model 3 to save on gas and pay things off. I miss it, but I’m looking forward to the scout ev and will be able to charge in my garage and have an off roader again. Really excited for the return!

Can't go wrong with Aston's colors. Its a good modern "middle" green that still makes me think of my grandparents' '78 Traveler.
Thanks for the bump on my color, was just thinking about this one again and I still maintain this green is ideal for Scout. Just to see it in some different environments here in California..

How is it we can’t get AI to make good Scouts but somebody can use AI to generate a beautiful Acura coupe?

My guess is that since Acura has so many designs under them and new designs it can make judgements on those designs. But since Scout Motors is new it pics details from all over the Off-road industry.

I really think it's this. Let's remember that these AI models learn from existing content so when there's no content to learn from, it has to pull from elsewhere to fill in the gaps and that's where you get inaccuracies. For example look at the Downtown LA pic I did and you'll see a hint of new Land Cruiser rear window.

Just to prove this point here's a randomly generated image of a 2023 Ford Bronco driving in Kauai. I chose this because both the location and the car are very well photographed so lots of data to pull from. As you can see below, while yes there's still room for improvement, it's pretty spot on.

So, Off-roading girly girl here... I think its smart to give fun color options. The market is lacking in that department. Truly original looks are needed. Honestly a really pretty deep raspberry (pink tone, but dark) would be fun. Or a coral... the fun blues are good girly options. Maybe a dark teal with some pearlescent to it. I know getting an aftermarket paint job is a pain, so an option to pick a premium paint would be great. I am on a bunch of Girl based jeep forums, and they would go for it big time. Also, bells and whistles when it comes to luxury interiors. The cool EV suv off-roading market has options, but if you look at some of the interior options from the escalade iq or from the gas jeep wagoner.... things that an EV could really thrive with. The refrigerated compartment... white interior options... screens in the backseat headrest. I can imagine these might add up, but maybe as an add on lux package? I love the sun roof. Its why I love my Jeep 4xe... but the features are lacking. As a new product, i think you have the opportunity to catch a part of the market that loves the rugged side of an off road SUV, but also love the options to have a lux interior. And people like me love a fun color option. I dont think you should be afraid to think a bit out of the box when it comes to that. A lot of these colors are great unisex (not that colors should define a gender) but some of us girls that love the rugged style also love to express the girl aspect too. :-)

Hoping for light blue or light blue matte options and multiple interior color options. I agree, need fun color choices not the 5 shades of grey that Bronco had on pallet.

Yay a girl after my own heart! Welcome to the forum Missy. Fellow Wrangler owner and girly girl here. I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s like you are speaking for me!

Love my ClearLidz roof I put in my Wrangler and can’t wait for that glass roof panel.

And I’m with you on colors! I have been living with a black Wrangler for 12 years. I am ready to brighten up my life!

There’s lots of info on here. The search is a big help and @Jamie@ScoutMotors is a great follow. He posts stuff from
The manufacturer and don’t be afraid to make your wishes known. They do see what we post!

This journey has been a lot of fun and 👋 and

Welcome to the forum. There is a color poll posted here on the forum, check it out, some fun colors there. As you mentioned, Jeep does a great job capturing a blend of colors and they look fantastic, these are limited funs typically. Hoping SM will follow suite with some limited runs that will set it apart from others, something Ford lacks with the Bronco. Also, hopefully colors won't be trim/level specific. Again, welcome to the group!
