  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Website updates

Any plans on any Ohio showings for upcoming events?

    Website updates

When are we getting some updates? Website unchanged….no upcoming events or showing…..things have got very stale.

    Outlets

I hope for a much better output….comparable to ford lightening, but definitely better than Rivian even just as base or standard. The 1500 watts for Rivian is obsolete.

    Outlets

Right….I read that but that does not explain the 2 in the truck bed with the 240v outlet and the additional 3-by the charge port. The numbers do not add up.

    Outlets

I am confused on number of outlets on Terra. Says 4 on website in truck bed, but I am counting 2-120v in bed and 3-12v at charge port for 5 total. Plus the 240v. Can someone clarify?

    Outlet watts

does anyone know how many watts the power outlets will provide? For example the Ford Lightening I believe over 7k and 9k watts for power tools. Rivian on the flip side is only 1500.

    Harvester towing

Rather have the ability to have that included in the bundle offer of the 60k truck like most people….lol I am sure most people who get a full size truck don’t anticipate going to U-Haul to get something to tow 😁

    BEV Later Production

Please do not prioritize the BEV at a later date. I know you are looking at numbers and see a vast majority want the gas extended version but many of us myself included are committed to fully electric and have adjusted to the “ range anxiety” people are not used to. In my own opinion I think the...

    Harvester Towing

To the best of everyone’s ability do not minimize towing for the gas extender versions to 5k. That will cause you all to lose a drastic amount of reservations just by that alone. People want trucks for truck things. Especially for that price. It’s evident in the forums. Towing is a huge...

    Ev Delay

I am hoping the BEV does not get delay. I am unfortunately one of the 20 percent who want the BEV version and not the Harvester.

    Harvester towing

Correct. The fact is though and key component is it’s a full sized truck at a full sized price. It is also probably going to be well over 60k for the one they advertised during showing. That being said many people will be disappointed on that number. Who wouldn’t be. This is all bits and pieces...

    Harvester towing

I agree….however it is always good to have a good tow number in your back pocket. It would be unfortunate to get a truck to tow and to get a boat or a trailer or jet skis etc just to find out you have to limit yourself and do research to get the numbers down. It’s just something that nice to...

    Harvester towing

Unfortunately the “one comment” was from the one person whom is very credible.

    Harvester towing

For certain people who made reservations with towing in mind will more than likely cancel reservations. I am almost certain a vast majority of people made reservations for Harvester not knowing the 5k number. People want trucks for truck things. That’s what people want and what a vast majority...

    Harvester towing

One thing for certain. The bulk of reservations were before the 5k number was thrown out. It is almost guaranteed the reservation numbers will drop for the Harvester model if that number stays true.
