  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Luxury features I would like to See

I think SM should have the "Knuckle Dragger" trim and the "Grey Poupon" trim for us to choose from. Just a thought.

    Blindspot Mirrors in Sideview Mirrors!

I agree but cams and mirrors give you a little bit more view.

Luxury features I would like to See

I plan on keeping this Truck for 12 or more years so I want every feature we’ve all mentioned and I’m willing to pay for it, as long as towing and EV range exceed my expectations!

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I think Tesla has been too driven by Elon to attain actual autonomous driving and not given the user the mix of features many want: HUD ADB Buttons mix Off Road and Towing Practical door handles Pano Shade Not ridiculous truck / bed. No rear wipers. What Tesla has done: Superior...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I agree. If GM had a pano shade, lighter interior color choices, especially headliner, CarPlay and better Dashcam/Mobile Connectivity, I think their EV Offering is great with the Midgate and multi tailgate. It’s a massive amount of money not to get those improvements that match Tesla or...

    National tour when?

Just got a chance to look over and sit in the Slate EV SUV/Truck in Cleveland at the Great Lakes Science Center last Saturday. Tesla Center here and a Rivian service/delivery center. Looking forward to a SM Adventure Center/Service Center and Delivery Center in the Greater Cleveland Area...

Luxury features I would like to See

I know many don’t want all this but for those of us who do, we need to be willing to pay for it. I am. Now if a Scout with Harvester only had 250 EV range and could tow 8,500 lbs!

Luxury features I would like to See

Love Waze. I like my Grey Poupon just slightly chilled below room temperature. But who will be there to serve it?

    Blindspot Mirrors in Sideview Mirrors!

I've attended all courses from the BMW driving school too and I set my mirrors like that but I'm not always planted in the seat one way. Additoinally, my daughters and wife never set their mirrors properly. They're always looking at the side of the car. I think there are definitely blind spots...
