  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Waiting for Scout, I leased an Ioniq 5. Here are things I'd like to Improve and as they relate to Scout Terra or Traveler

Agree. Every body shape and posture is different and it’s easy to make it adjustable.

Sorry, as part of the "I'm losing interest" and "I'm a busy Doctor" excuse, I haven't been on the forums quite as much.

I worded that poorly. I do want both Dashcams with Cloud connection and real time viewing as in Tesla and Sentry mode but they don't exist on Ioniq 5 despite having Dashcam Companies like BlackVue and Thinkware in S Korea. They should collaborate with those Dashcam Companies.

Agree. Lacking on the Ioniq 5 and unkown in the Scout but demonstrates its usefulness on any Tesla.

Oh no, I do want it in both the Scout and the Ioniq 5. It doesn't currently come in the Ioniq 5. We don't know if it does in the Scout yet and they do come in all Teslas, of course (and 'mostly' in Rivians but not as robust or easy to use).

But, if you've lost your phone in a bar, lets say, as has happened to a friend and my eldest, or had it stolen, then all they have to do is walk around the parking lot with an unlocked iphone and the car will unlock and 'present' its handle and you can rummage through the car. I would want it to...

My Wife sits bolt upright and doesn't like the seats. She especially doesn't like that the headrest leans too far forward, really pitches too far forward and its not adjustable. You could replace it, I suppose. Our Audi's have multi way adjustable headrests. I've never leased before but this...

Hello All, I recently leased a limited 2025, AWD Ioniq 5 with NACS (and a rear wiper!), while awaiting an R2, Slate or Scout (all of which I have a reservation for as of now). I like how its clamshell shade closes the unopenable pano roof (I'm ok with it being unopenable. We almost never open...

Too late. It’s Rivian Software for sure.

Luxury features I would like to See

I think SM should have the "Knuckle Dragger" trim and the "Grey Poupon" trim for us to choose from. Just a thought.

    Blindspot Mirrors in Sideview Mirrors!

I agree but cams and mirrors give you a little bit more view.
