  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

It would certainly be nice if the pricing started closer to that $40-45k mark though. That said, I'm expecting it to have a lot of standard equipment at $60k.

    Traveler NEEDS the bench seat

Easy for me, I don't have a purse, lol!

    Traveler NEEDS the bench seat

I don't either, and could be really interesting to see. I'd wager a bet that console is at least 70%

    Traveler NEEDS the bench seat

I totally get that different folks have reasons for the console. I like the interiors of my trucks to be the most versatile. Same with all vehicles. If there's a 7 passenger version of a 3-row I'm going with that (we did with an Atlas) versus the 6 as an example. For my full-size trucks they've...

    Traveler NEEDS the bench seat

I have no worries about the bench seat coming, it was made out as a huge deal from the get go at the original reveal. I'm genuinely curious what the take-rate is going to be for it though. I'm 100% getting the bench seat, I've only ever had bench seats in a truck and refuse to buy console...

Scout Concepts are coming home April 18-20, 2026

Just get black and give 'er a wrap if they don't give you your PBY. That's what I'd do.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I think we'll see a much more honest opinion of Chinese vehicles in general from places like Europe and Australia than we will from media in China.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Cyure posted this in the FB find of the day. Now it actually looks exactly the same, so... I guess in my head it seemed like it'd be lower. Makes the most sense to me they'd be pretty close in the end.

Not a side shot, but the load floor is well below the tops of the arches, compared to the Traveler.

The one thing I can't understand though from these images is how is that going to work for the bed in the Terra? Looks like in that image it would be way into the bed area.

    Wheel Style Poll

#4, I like a smaller rim and fatter tire, and I don't know why but I just dig this one. Hoping it or something very similar makes it to production.

Ohh nice, I had missed that before. I was wondering where it was going to be.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Back in high school my truck had a 12-disc changer under the seat, with a remote! I could switch CDs at a whim and songs it felt like. I honestly don't even remember how I got that thing, but it was awesome. Now-a-days I use my phone, but I'm still a "buy the whole album and listen to it" type...

I'm tempted to agree, honestly. I thought Ford did a good move by making their Lightning look as much like a regular F-150 while simultaneously looking as different as possible. These maker's cars/trucks could all function that way.

Never really thought about it, but that shoulder line does make a really nice point to change paint. The bottom character line of the door would also lend itself well to having the middle of the body be a different color. Nice!
