We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    Sheesh, I hope there are more levels than that. When driving in the mountains on different grades, you would hope to have more options. I know it's not the same, but imagine if you only could select 1st gear or overdrive on a manual transmission.

    Yes, I got to drive on the BMW off road track. The BMW staff would guide you through the course by walkie talkie. When looking down a steep hill, he said to trust the vehicle and let it creep down the hill with no pedal action. It performed beautifully.

    When I first bought my Ioniq 5, I had to try one-pedal and I really liked it, especially when driving in the city, mountains or in stop and go traffic.     I just saw that the concepts will be there at "selected events". @Jamie@ScoutMotors will there be more details when/where exactly the concepts will be at the Whitewater Center before I drive over 2 hours one way?

    Wow! And it's so close. I've known about the park since the Summer Olympics when it was built but I wasn't aware of all the additional activities. I'm going to have to round up all the grand-kids and get up there.

    I get it. Since I bought my EV earlier this year, my wife has been looking for her own. She wouldn't really ever need to charge at a public charger. Right now, it appears that EV inventories are slim pickings.

    The biggest issue is it doesn't have an 800v battery. Without that, you're not going to get the fastest charging. However, if you plan to only charge at home, I suppose it doesn't matter. I believe this is how they can manage a lower sticker price. I definitely want my Scout to have 800v battery.

    Actually, in my frequented areas, Tesla has several superchargers adjacent to Cracker Barrels. I would much rather those be Ionna.

    The Ionna Rechargery that I mentioned earlier in Irmo, SC is conveniently located right off the interstate and just across the parking lot is a Starbucks and a deli. The Ionna stations aren't covered here (just to the right of the Circle K gas station), but again it's all about location...

    These Scout events are awesome as are the Scout concepts and Scout team. Getting to meet and talk to Scott, I mean Uncle Scottie :ROFLMAO: , and other team members at the Training Center opening was just as exciting as getting to see the concepts. It made the experience complete.
