What do we think is going to happen on the 24th of October?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
The frame is made of steel. :D

I like your idea and do think 1st quarter next year, you will all be a bit happier with some new information coming. We are working on a chassis display so we can do some deep dives into the platform.

Many technical details come down to final specifications and actual certifications. If we add a little more battery to one model, we don't want to keep coming back here with corrected or changed information that will only disappoint or frustrate people. We hear you all on the length of time, and trust me, we're going crazy on our end too. 2027 will be a big year with a LOT to talk about. We knew 2026 would be a longer wait and, arguably, a fairly quiet period. That said, we showed many different versions of the vehicles; we added another concept; we made a headquarters announcement; we expanded the supplier park; and on and on. Most importantly, we are stamping actual Scout sheet metal now and building validation/test bodies, some of which will become test vehicles.

So 2027 will have a lot going on, starting with a new website, a visualizer to play with, lots of testing and development work we can finally share with everyone, a deep dive into our chassis and driveline, and lots more.

As always, we appreciate everyone's patience. :D
Chassis display, new website with visualizer and deep dives?! Whelp that's good enough for me for the rest of the year, but now it's like Christmas Eve night, I want to go to sleep and wake up tomorrow with it being 2027....cant wait! :ROFLMAO:

"Actual Scout sheet metal." That's fantastic news! 🎉

Now we just need someone to sneak into the factory and take a picture (or short video) of the sheet metal press in action.

Just did a quick search and could only find a picture of old Scout sheet metal in a press:

Seriously, I think we all hoped newsy-stuff would pick up in 2027 and it's great to see that it will. At least for me, Scout can't take my $60-100K quick enough!

Seriously, the Scout merch is awesome, so much that I literally have to buy my wife a hoodie so she will quit taking mine!
In all seriousness, the Scout merch IS awesome. I can be difficult to fit. Rivian merch fits me terribly. But the Scout stuff? Fits me great. There are times I feel like a walking billboard for Scout. If they had more merch, I'd totally buy it! +1 for more merch!

Are we there yet, are we there yet, are we there yet 😀

I’ve been living up in the trusses since the Boston event. My bodysuit looks like corrugated roof metal. The 64” high main beam is blocking my view and my left leg fell asleep 2 days ago. Battery is on 4%…….please sent help, the shackle is jammed and I can’t lower myself down. On a stranger note-the robots are communicating after hours-I think AI is mobilizing an army

Spicy!!! This should be on the Scout motors Blue and White site. Or is this the blue and white site for Scout?
