Scout Concepts in Cambridge, MA, October 16-18, 2026

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Can't remember if anyone else posted a picture of this yet, but a couple booths down from Scout was this very interesting vehicle at the LL Bean booth.

Hmm, come to think of it, I wonder if this was a cleverly disguised Scout test mule. Jamie did say they would be unrecognizable from the outside.

We got a late start this morning and didn't end up getting there till about 3:45 in the afternoon.

Still had a nice chat with two Scout employees, one from the design team (interior, I think) and one from the CMF team.

Only got a few pictures, nothing that hasn't already been documented here, but I'll post a few anyway. You can never have too many pictures, right @cyure?

Right! Well what did you think? Were they what you expected? Anything surprise you?

Completely amazing. Heading over again this morning. Showing a brisk 36 degrees-can’t complain knowing how many rowers are out on open water today. Maybe I’ll get a peak

I absolutely love the profile photos of the Traveler for the simple fact it shows the tire to body gap in the rear is more than the front meaning the it wont look squatted. I was worried with so much of the body toward the rear of the vehicle it would look like the rear is sitting lower than the front, but from the photos you took the back is sitting up and looks nice and level. Love it!

This wasn't my first time seeing them in person. Well, the Traveler, anyway. I had seen it last September in NYC when it was wearing the Pacific Mist color.

I hadn't seen the Terra in person because it was on it's way back from Germany at the time of that NYC event last year, IIRC. It looked great at this event. The size and scale didn't surprise me, having seen the Traveler before.

The only thing that did get me wondering was where they had the charge port door open near the taillight, among the bank of 120V outlets was the other port that I don't remember seeing before. Looks like maybe a charge port for a future Scout accessory portable battery pack for camping that will be charged with energy from the Scout battery. This may have been mentioned on here before and I missed it, but it looked new to me.

I haven’t particularly cared for the Silo color on the Terra, but your photos reveal a side to it I hadn’t noticed before.

This is why it’s so nice to have so many pictures from everyone!

I went back to my pictures from Nats 2025 when we saw the original concept liveries.

The Traveler had that port named that but the Terra didn’t. It was there, just no name. Good catch!

The kids had a blast with the Scout RC course. Cheering and clapping and absolute chaos (I wanted to participate but too many kids in line). Lots of action shots

I was told by Colin-new to Scout (2 months on) that they will be 3-D printing some new shells in house as these have been road hard and put away wet-literally. So nice to see all the bright colors

So this morning was day 3 of Scouts. Weather was BEAUTIFUL and bummed it wasn’t like this all weekend. Bridges and spots along the Charles were filled with spectators and the crowds cheered their athletes, teams, etc…. Sun was shining and air was just the right amount of brisk for a fall day. I tried to get some different perspectives today as well as good shots of wheel poke so just dropping groups of these. Nothing specific as order goes. Hope they provide something for you

Some cool pics of Scout pics while waiting in line at the vending machine. Scout socks-how cool! I think this was suggested at some point for the merch store
