Vehicle Visualizer/Configurator Tool

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

We created a poll recently and there seems to be a lot of interest in a Visualizer Tool to play with various features, options, colors, materials, etc.

It would be awesome of your team could get one setup on the website to give people a chance to build and configure their Scout, and save it to their profile so your team can look at the data on popular choices and selections.

It would keep folks entertained while they wait for the launch and help determine demand for various tentative options and combinations.

Most of us understand that not all colors, options, and accessories will be available at launch, but I am sure your team would expressly convey to people using the tool that nothing is finalized and everything is subject to change.

Maybe you could start by inviting reservation holders from the Scout Community Forum first so they can provide feedback and find bugs, and gradually invite other Reservation holders to use it.

Thank you for all yall do.

Cheers

Fine by me! My Christmas isn’t ruined. There are still 128458587 Hallmark movies to watch.

(Coming to Hallmark in 2028: Scouting for Christmas. Bonnie’s got no Christmas spirit ever since her dad died and left the day-to-day business of running their Scout restomod to her. Now, the shop is in big trouble when hunk Evan moves his YouTube garage to town and more than sparkplugs fly! Will the passion between these young entrepreneurs rust or rumble? Get ready for eight cylinders of all-American hot chocolate-filled romance!)

I know you are teasing, but I think that’s a great idea! I love the pitch!

I mean, they’ve made three Super Bowl champ x Hallmark movies. Three. Nobody should have allowed that and yet not only did it happen once, it’s happened three times, so it wasn’t an accident. You might think “Someone at Hallmark is a goddamn maniac,” bit it’s like the understatement of all understatements. Everyone involved is a maniac. They produce those movies in like a two-week turnaorund. The people who watch these movies are bonkers. They have cruises and conventions and podcasts and all of these sideshows for fans to gather and pay for autographs and whatnot. If you’re that into it, mazel tov, but that is a level to which I do not wish to commit. My mom and I watch these movies once a year because it’s a fine brain break. I will spend no more money on this than like 99 cents a month, which is the Black Friday deal I got last year for 3 months of Hallmark+. It’s not worth more than that to me, but it is now a beloved tradition (but I was given a Cameo last year from a Hallmark hunk, so that’s not completely true).
