Scout "Base" by LastDayScout

There has been a lot of discussion about what a base model should be and what it might include. So, I envisioned a modern base/clear version of the vintage Grenoble Green. It features natural aluminum 18” wheels and BFG Trail Terrain T/A+ 275/65R18 tires, roof rails and two versions of the rear appliqué. The interior bench seating is covered in Sunbrella Peat fabric. The dash and door inserts are brushed aluminum. My 1980 Scout das had a brushed aluminum dash. There are two variations of the rear tailgate applique.

What do you all think? How do you envision a Scout base model?

Great work on this, I really enjoy the simplistic design. Today's base model would have been Luxury ~7 years ago. Your design looks very sleek and it's evident you put a lot of effort into this. Really enjoy the dash as this may be easier to maintain over time and doesn't draw attention away from other elements of the interior. I have been indifferent of the rear blackout paneling/mask and this helps visualize what a body color may look like.

Well done! That looks nice for a "base" model, but it seems appropriate for the Scouts target price.

I am a center console person, but I know a lot of people will want the bench seat. I love the look of the seats, that fabric matches the feel of the truck perfectly.

Looks great. Love the rear appliqué-almost enough to lose the tire carrier. And the brushed metal interior looks really good. Lot of it but I like it a lot

That is a good color. I would prefer a deeper darker green but I do like that. Is it a specific color green, or is it a prompt? Either way, it works quite well. Scout Motors, @Jamie@ScoutMotors and @aileen.barraza I hope you are seeing this valuable information!

Ehhh! I’m sure Scout already has cool names trademarked but again, hope it isn’t a bunch of complicated names, just keep it simple
