Scout Concepts in Seattle, Washington, May 9, 2026

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Work has been busy lately, and so has life.

But talking with the family today, either another buddy and I will be trying to attend, or my wife and two kids and I will be showing up between soccer games.

So if you see two kids running around in soccer gear with a weird dad explaining stuff to them, that’s probably me :P.

We probably won’t be able to stay all that long because we have to get back for another soccer game. But to be honest, the kids would probably burn out pretty quick, since they can’t just run amok sitting in the vehicles and pressing all the buttons :P.

Do I need to RSVP?

Hey guys, I took a few pictures, but not many because it was packed! I swear, we rolled up about 2 minutes after it was scheduled to start and it was like a rock concert in a part of town that doesn't normally have large crowds. Folks were parking blocks away and walking up. The Scout crew was on it and the lines to get in flowed smoothly.

It was shoulder to shoulder to try and get a peek inside the Traveler. Seems like fewer folks were interested in the Terra.

These vehicles are BIG. Much bigger than I thought. I'll need to see what these look like for a more urban profile!

Lots of enthusiasm here in the PNW!

That’s amazing!

I guess I’m glad I went when I did.

Did you get your reservation holder gift?
Yes, you'll like this story. They were asking people to share the QR codes from the confirmation email and I was like "What would be the email address it was from?" and the reply was "scoutmotors.com" and I did a search on my email and it was just all forum notifications... So I was like "So, I have all these forum messages and can't find that email," and she said "If you're in the forum, you're family. You are all good!"

What was the gift?
A branded, reusable mug. It seems like the outer shell is like a tumbler for cold drinks and the inner shell is ceramic for hot drinks.

Same. NYC was packed 200 feet in every direction but for the tourist stuff and not the Scout traveler-at one point there were less than 6 people looking at it which really surprised me. Thrilled the turn out in Seattle was a good one. Interest is growing!

They were giving out coffee mugs. Apparently they brought 500 for reservation holders, but more like 2000 showed up. They were gone by the time we got there around 12:30.

Jamie wasn’t here for this one, but got to chat briefly with Mike.

Was only there for 30-45min, and had to jet for the next soccer game.

I’ll give more feedback later. At the second soccer game right now.

It was pretty crowded, and hard to get much time with it in the “front row”. And even in the short time there, I heard a lot of confusion, even among the scout reps (saying the traveler wouldn’t have a spare tire underneath even on the BEV version because of water fording depth). Plus another local guy talking about how much gas is needed for the extra 150miles of range).

So did you like them? This was your first up close and personal-right?

Need to keep training the Scout reps better. These discrepancies lead to fire drills as people hear something wrong and go into panic mode
