A Gift From Scout Motors

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Genuinely get the sense that more people haven't received anything than those who have. It's been 5 months since they asked for an address to send the gift. Wild.
Well J posted their other day the issue was he had changed email addresses and that caused an issue somehow. Apparently hes getting assistance from SMs trail guides.

I received mine a few weeks ago. Jan 2025 reservation and I believe my address was in the entire time. I did change from EREV to BEV sometime this year.

The gift showing up caused my kids to get excited. Any time a car conversation comes up, my 7 year old can't stop talking about how our next vehicle will be a Scout. Helps that his favorite color is orange.

I'm an October 2024 reservation. Never changed anything.

When I ordered my Lotus Emira it took 3 years from when I put in my reservation until the time they started delivering cars. So I've been down the path of reserving a car that won't come out for awhile and have patience on that timeline. Lotus also did a gift to reservation holders. A hat, a pen, a driving journal and a coffee table book. But in that instance from the time we were told a gift was coming it was only like 45 days until we got it, so it felt like a positive experience. This experience after 5 months of checking my mail box in anticipation starts to feel like a negative. If you can't get them mailed out, and the mailing is going to be random, then Scout may have been better off not doing it until they were able to do it right.

I’m hoping after this experience they used a different vendor to mail future goodies. It’s taking entirely too long.

@J Alynn okay! I got new from scout trail guides.

A batch is going out second week of may.

Also contact them and make sure your address and information is correct. I was told my address was updated but know im being told that it wasn't updated the last time i spoke to a trail guide.

Good to know. Thanks. They told me while talking with them and confirming email that it is now connected to my account and I should now be in the poster queue. Sucks it’s mid May but good things come to those who wait 😀 and some crazy nonsense about faith and patience
