CYURE GOES TO CHICAGO 12/10/2025

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Ha! I really must like all of you around here because I’m posting these pictures of myself, which I never do. Again I’m 5’7” for scale. I am leaning over a bit in this picture. I was asking my husband to get a good picture of the color shift from blue to green and thought pointing would help. 🤷‍♀️. Anyway look how great Pacific Mist looks!!

You should drink more milk. I’m worried at your age if you are leaning over it might be osteoporosis and I want you to stay healthy for your new Scout 🤣

I haven’t posted a picture from Chicago in a bit and I had a few more.

This one I wanted to highlight the back of the seat. I really hope they keep it hard plastic like this. So easy to clean. Especially if you have little kids in forward facing car seats or booster seats. They are always putting their feet on the back of the seat.

I’m not 100% sold on the pocket. Something spills in there that would be damn near impossible to clean. Maybe if it was made to flip open somehow so it was easier to clean that would be better.

Ya. Sorry to say. But, those solid pockets like that are useless in every way. IME.

I was looking at this picture of the dash today. Another thing I noticed. On the passenger side there’s a little channel with ridges in it on the dash. Cute detail but again just a place to collect dust and dirt and doesn’t look easy to clean. I in no way want everything to be flat but do want things to be easy to wipe off, vacuum or dust.

Wonder if that is a rubber surface so you can prop a phone? Could be simplified for sure

That’s more accessible than the forbidden black hole between the drivers seat and center console. Over the past week of driving a countryman since my truck is no way in hell allowed on the roads due to poor plowing. I have had to buy 6 new phones because the black hole has eaten 6 of my phones.

Where do you put your phone that you keep dropping into the chasm?

Another little detail I just noticed. That upper panel on the door has two rows of stitching and there’s a stripe of the darker material. I like that. Just an extra little detail in the door.

I love that too but not to crush you I was essentially told in NYC that it most likely won’t make production due to cost. I was fawning over it and I won’t name names but “someone” made the statement. Not the end of the world but it is a sweet detail

I was thinking the same thing. Details like that can be left out to save costs and it won’t be a dealbreaker, but I still like it a lot.
