Those piss me off. Almost every BMW has one, and every time it goes off I give it the bird.Me too. But I could live without the Scout logo projection puddle lamp that everyone is doing

It looks like solid plastic based on finish but who knows. I’ll never sit in the back anywayI think that one is the front passenger, that has that strange piece of overlapped leather that has a fillet edge into the next piece. Looks cool but I would rather it be one clean piece. But it might be a real production item. Considering it was on the original Traveler’s interior. And seems to be also on the Terra. It probably has some type of purpose.
And that large plastic piece I’m okay with as long as it’s the more squishy type plastic, similar to a dash board.
Might be the release to raise and lower headrests? Odd on back but almost looks like it could slide?Okay this on the back of the front seats. First of all I love the S logo. Second I really think this could be a hook. For purses, backpacks, etc. I have no idea if that is crash safe but it would be great.

If they “must” have one it should be something witty like “go first” or “go further”. You shouldn’t need the name. You should know the car. Maybe “let’s launch this B”Those piss me off. Almost every BMW has one, and every time it goes off I give it the bird.
Oh maybe.Might be the release to raise and lower headrests? Odd on back but almost looks like it could slide?
Rivian has something similar, it's a hook, by the look of it, and has a USB-C portMight be the release to raise and lower headrests? Odd on back but almost looks like it could slide?
Yeah. I’ve seen that and I’ve seen a few seats with rear hooks to hanger a suit jacket but the Scout one looks a bit different so hard to tellRivian has something similar, it's a hook, by the look of it, and has a USB-C portView attachment 12269
It looks intended to be a hook to me, maybe it can be pressed flush when not wanted, or just a placeholder for the concepts, I also feel like the red marked "insert" on the side of the head rest would be for adjustment, since from that angle it looks like a buttonYeah. The whole head rests for the front seats aren’t finalized. They have no adjustment yet, or anything. So who knows?Okay this on the back of the front seats. First of all I love the S logo. As you all know, I don’t care much for frivolous things. If they “must” have one it should be something witty like “go first” or “go further”. You shouldn’t need the name. You should know the car. Maybe “let’s launch this B”![]()
Oh now I love that. What if the Scouts was a compass?!?As you all know, I don’t care much for frivolous things.
The Mustang’s puddle lights are pretty cool, even to an old curmudgeon like me.

I *KNOW* some brilliant engineer at Scout can also make it a compass that always points to north, regardless of how the vehicle is oriented.Oh now I love that. What if the Scouts was a compass?!?
As I have posted elsewhere on this forum, I am a bit more concerned with the pull handle location. Without being able to actually sit in the seat, that handle looks to be in an awkward location from a functional but mostly comfort position. I tend to rest my arm on the door rest and my hand through the handle. The armrest of my old Sequoia is "just right" for me. Am I the only one that does this?Interestingly this is my least favorite image of the scouts. The way the leather connects at the top, the pull handle has the extenders that tie into the adjacent metallic trim and are very noticeable. I’m guessing they needed more surface/anchorage areas so hence the extensions but locating the joints right at the handle would look much cleaner. Maybe it’s a prototype thing. The upper lapped leather is what it is and not much you can do but these two pics just expose some of the lesser appealing details inside the car.
I don’t actually know how much it’ll cost. I’m just being pessimistic.I *KNOW* some brilliant engineer at Scout can also make it a compass that always points to north, regardless of how the vehicle is oriented.
That’s going to be a $10k upgrade, though.
Something like a compass rose with the center cut out for the Scout “S” then it wouldn’t need to show actual cardinal directions, but if a working compass having the “S” in the place so south would also work, but I image a working compass puddle light would cost a pretty pennyOh now I love that. What if the Scouts was a compass?!?
Being as buyers come in all shapes and sizes it’s hard to nail the ideal location. I think you are just lucky with your wing span and design of the Sequoia ???As I have posted elsewhere on this forum, I am a bit more concerned with the pull handle location.
