  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scoutsâ„¢. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Nope! 😂

We left at 2PM.

UPS dropped it off at the front door around 5pm and didn’t ask for a signature, which is weird because I couldn’t sign for it electronically on the website.

I returned around 1am and started the transfer process. It just finished a little while ago, but I am very impressed so far.
That’s so strange they are legally required to get a signature. That’s great to hear! Fun fact about the new one. If you go to battery in settings and go to charging you can set the charging limit just like an EV… finally something to help with the battery degradation.

Yep! There are tons of cool features in IOS 26. I was running the Beta since earlier this year. Charging limits is a great one. I’m just in the camp of using your phone as much as you like and when it’s worn paying Apple around $100 for a new one.

There is also an Adaptive Battery mode that will kick on Low Power mode and throttle some service and features when it feels you do or don’t need them.

My favorite new feature is Call Screening. Pixels introduced it years ago and it cuts down on SPAM calls a lot.

Same for the new Hold Assist feature where if you are on hold for something you can set the phone down and it will notify you when someone joins the call.

Very odd indeed. They just left it on my door mat.

I had asked my sister to come by and sign for it for me, but she said they didn’t knock and it was just sitting there when she stepped outside.

On the UPS website I had tried to sign for it online and it was grayed out saying the sender required a signature so I don’t get it.

Oh well. Have the Air MagSafe Battery, bumper case, and it’s been a good experience so far.

Jerryrig Everything’s video lends some credibility to Apples claim that it’s the toughest iPhone they have ever built.

I’ll have to look more into that. Thanks for the insight!

Wait, I'm just thinking about this. When I bought my Ipad Pro. I never had to sign.
