Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Now that the Baja commercial is officially released, I can share some behind the scenes pics.

First one is me in the grey shirt watching Owen and Sean load the back of the Terra.
Second one is a shot of all their gear in the back of the Terra.
Third is a shot I took at the end of the day after I took the Terra down a trail. The footage at the very end of the commercial (the Terra driving away with the race truck behind her) was the last shoot of the day. This photo was right after that shoot as we were loading her on a trailer to bring her back out to the transporter.

These are awesome. Love to see the behind the scenes “stuff” because so many times we forget how much work and effort goes into these kind of things

Were you nervous that Sean or Owen were gonna scratch a panel at all? Or no?

I’d love to see an ARB style bumper for these things, any other front bumper designs?
I think its supposed to be modular and support aftermarket accessories, so when you get one, and if you like ARB, you can stick your own ARB bumper on it.

I am curious how the aftermarket will approach the front bumper situation. If it’s too tall it will interfere with the frunk opening. Maybe we will see some with removable hoops and stingers?

ARB is an Australian company so I’m not sure we could expect one from them unless
Scout ships some of them to that market.

I’m really hoping someone makes a swing out rear bumper for the Terra to mount 35”+ tires on the back with a few Jerry cans.

ARB bumpers like almost all aftermarket bumpers are vehicle specific. Even the same model vehicle will have different part numbers for different years due to minor changes in headlights, parking sensors, etc.

There is no “standard frame mount” for any vehicle. There is no “standard width” or “standard height” either.

You will not be able to simple toss one on from any company.

Yeah maybe something that hoops up towards the lights but dips down in the middle? I’m far from an artist so I don’t know how it would look but I’m excited to see what the aftermarket world comes up with or even Scout themselves.

I’ve been wondering if they’ll have a swing out tire setup on the Terra similar to the Traveller. I picture that with like a softopper and some ditch lights *chefs kiss*
