Scout merch should also include camping chairs, blankets, umbrellas etc. Lifestyle stuff beyond clothing.

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Some folks here suggested a Scout branded plaid (tartan) blanket when we were discussing overland gear.

It’s a pretty brilliant idea.

If it could be made of hemp or a resilient fiber that doesn’t get funky after it’s wet that would be even cooler.

They could be offered in the various headliner material pattern options so they could match the theme of your ride or topographical print of destinations they took their Scout to.

if I had one in the frunk at all times it would be used a LOT. Picnics, concerts, beach time, passing out on the lawn of the local winery etc.

Scout branded camping chairs would also be pretty slick for taking to destinations. And if you could fit several in the frunk that’s even better.

Maybe beach umbrellas or ponchos too.

Things that you’ll be using once your Scout arrives at the destination and capturing the lifestyle aspect of Scout ownership.

What else would you like to see aside from clothing?

Luggage that’s made to fit the frunk. At least 3 pieces.

You go to wineries? Buy a box of wine and mozy out to the front lawn.

My wife is from Spain and has forbidden box wine in our home. She legitimately cannot stand it.

We lived in France for while when I was a kid and there are “wine stations” with drive up petrol pumps used for house wines. You use your own containers or whatever you have around and pump it in there. Water bottles, jugs, hydration bags etc. A vessel is a vessel in my book!

She thinks it’s trashy if it’s not in a bottle 🥴

I'm a sucker for a Pendleton style blanket, to the point where I'm having my Scout II inner interior done with a Pendleton style BaJa design.

I'm gonna throw out the suggestion for a hammock, something versatile that you can use when traveling.

I was kidding. You are lucky-my wife developed a grape allergy about 8 years ago so I quit buying wine. And FYI, box wine is definitely not desirable but with a long crazy straw and a blanket the front yard under a shade tree would be an OK Saturday 🤣

Speaking of adult beverages I don’t know if this was ever shared but at the reveal SM had this Scout mobile beer truck at the dinner on the night of the reveal. It was super cool.

Nooga has a fleet of these. Here is a little better picture of the 1970 Scout

Thanks for that. The funny thing is my memory keeps saying it was a Scout II at the event but I don’t see any others on their gallery so must be remembering front end only and it was dark.
I don't think that is the same Scout that was at the reveal...from what I remember. My phone was dead during dinner so I do not have any photos.
