Cluster customization

I think it would be super cool idea to be and change styles of how the cluster gage screen looks and be able to customize the main screen to a certain point as well. Like upload a back ground or move apps around, etc. for the gage cluster, be able to have different themes or displays to choose. I know me I get bored with same thing after a while and like to have a change here and there. Just an idea!

That has been discussed already but not to what extreme. The CES scout show on YouTube covered some of this and a few hints were mentioned at the reveal. The UX screen will be highly customizable and they mentioned the dog/pet mode will (planned and seems doable) ability to upload your fur friends image so a pic of pet is displayed when in pet mode

I am guessing most vehicle manufacturers allow some level of customization to the cluster. I only have experience with the Lincoln brand so will talk to that. You can customize a bit in my 2024 Lincoln cluster. It won’t let you place items willy-nilly it has set places for certain items. The elements you can pick from are 2 trips, fuel economy and tire pressure and are placed top center; speedometer Analog, Digital or both that is always placed right of center. If you want a tachometer, it is always placed left of center. Three different screen setups can be saved to a page button on the steering wheel and a fourth is a Calm Screen that is fix. This Calm Screen only shows small fuel gauge with miles to empty, digital speed, the sign reading function for current speed limit in the center of the cluster, PRNDL and miles in the same place on all screens. While outside temperature and compass are placed bottom right on Calm Screen and at the top center on the other three screens. I like to use this Calm Screen when driving at night.

Was rewatching this and it appears there will be a car wash mode, but I want to know what the heck that thing is at 8 o’clock on this mode selection screen.

Maybe it’s a lock for “gear guard” mode like Rivian has? Not sure..

That’s also a good one! Maybe like a telescope or something?

I am starting to think it’s a Game Mode after a another look. I see what looks like an D Pad and a Thumb Stick.

The round part on top is a different color. It almost looks like the icon photo isn’t on its “target” and the white placeholder circle is sticking out.

I can see it being on multiple screens. Who knows.
