2025 NYC photo-measurement requests

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

If there are specific photos and measurements you desire that don’t get me tasered, or thrown out in the process of viewing the traveler in NYC please post here. I will check this thread Friday morning when I arrive on site and do my best to help acquire it for you. Keep requests short and sweet so I’m not reading through paragraphs of superfluous jibber jabber -talking to you @Chavannigans 🤣🤣🤣
But seriously I’ll try to get tons of shots, sun on, sun off of paint, new roof rails and any other details I can spot or maybe have pointed out to me. Hoping @Jamie or @CP1@scoutmotors offers to take me for a spin around the block 🤣.

Close up of the harvester door, is it still a sticker?
Straight on the front
Back hatch closed with tire carrier closed

I’m sure I’ll have more

Bring one of these and just generate a full 3D model with interior and exterior scans.

These things are AMAZING. We had a demo at my last job. The office had 14’ high ceilings so some full height spaces and mezzanine areas. The set one up on a tripod. It took 5 minutes to do a 360 span. Then they ran it a second time and within 15 minutes we had a base scan of EVERYTHING. Including conduits, lights and desks and chairs. Amazing tech. Wish I had one

I very much would like to have one. But I just don’t have the budget.

Traveler Measurements.
  • Frunk
  • Rear storage with rear seat up
  • Rear storage with rear seat down.
  • Roof rail height

I wouldn't rely on the concept vehicle dimensions as a reflection of the production vehicle. While intended to be similar, the frunk for example really will come down to molding to the limits of the mechanical space left. Also, the concept vehicle seats don't move or fold down. So you could get a rough idea of cargo space in the back, but again, I wouldn't rely on that yet.

How about height? Is the height similar to what it will be?

The current heights are based on the as-built concepts. It really will depend on what spec, if it has an off-road package, what size wheels/tires, and more. It is in the ballpark, but it would be impossible to say for certain at the moment.

Well it looks like the list got quite a bit shorter. :)

Are the roof rails the real deal or should we forget about that as well?

Thanks for the clarification, Jamie.

I’m hoping the configuration tool will provide measurements based on the options selected. That would be very helpful.

>what size wheels/tires

37s CONFIRMED

I’d like to see a measurement from found to bottom of rear axle. Or photos of that rear underside, assuming it’s not secret/wildly different than production.
