  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

What do you love or hate about other off-road vehicles

The one "Loves" or useful options on my Wrangler is the ability to engage rear or front axles alone. I can make it a front wheel drive only or rear wheel drive only or both. Along with the programer (Taser) I can lock the front brakes only "Line lock". Yes I understand guys will use it for...

Some suggestions that I believe would make Scout the best Electric Offroad option

The solid front axle on my and all other Wranglers is by far the strongest for off-road, trails and rock crawling. But the ride is rough and there are more moving/support parts. The Scout if I read the specs correctly is a foot wider than Wrangler. So it won't fit places Wranglers have and will...

    Cool Solution—Erev cooling

Thought provoking post, thanks. I have not read how the Scout will be heating the cabin and the battery pack. Heat Pump or resistance heat. Here is southern AZ cooling in the summer is priority. Our Tesla when parked in the summer and in the sun will have the Heat Pump running almost nonstop...

    Accessories Poll For Scouts

Folding mirror would be great on a vehicle this wide. Also Scout engineers please spend time on things I can't change. Bumpers, roof racks, lights and things that bolt on and off will be in after market world. I'm in church and weather outside getting cold and wife in pretty dress, want to get...

Tom Petty coined "The Palm Generation" people going around looking at there palm. Would be nice to leave phones at home and just drive with a key in the ignition not being connected.... Until I need YouTube to find out how to fix something... lol

    Arizona - Sonora Desert Scouts

Glass roof would be great in morning, evening and off-roading in the mountains and just a nice option. But with the planet warming up and everything  most likely go with metal.

    Arizona - Sonora Desert Scouts

Hello. I was raised in Colorado and father owned a Scout and it was amazing. Big question is will the glass top Scout work in AZ?
