  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Scout Trophy

We need a Scout version of the old Camel Trophy. To this day I still think about how cool Land Rover was and it’s because of old Camel Trophy pictures of some Defender or Discovery in the middle of a jungle somewhere just being rugged as can be. It would be awesome to see a convoy of kitted out...

    Winch

@Jamie@ScoutMotors awesome to see, looks like sliders too. Not to compare but I love the Ineos setup here.

    Car Seat Anchor

As someone with 3 kids and possibly a 4th one day. Please add a car seat anchor in the middle seat and if possible lower LATCH as well. And just because it would be extremely appreciated personally one behind the middle bench seat would be awesome as well.

Scout Motors announces in-vehicle satellite connectivity and highlights Scout Community UX interface at CES 2025

@Jamie@ScoutMotors saw you on the video, you killed it! Cool to hear how Scout Motors really cares about their customers and the way the product molds to them. Between that, the mechanical side of this EV or REV filling a spot in the market that I feel most consumers always wanted it really is...

@Jamie@ScoutMotors any concerns of how that sat. location may be affected by a hard RTT mounted on the roof rack?

    Scout Color Poll #1

Can we get old man gold? I would love if somebody can do a render of the Traveller in old man gold with the silver two tone (roof/mirrors) they already have.

    Rust Prevention

    I like to hear that!

    Rust Prevention

Not sure if anyone brought this up yet but I didn't find much with the search bar. As we all know the old Scouts came with the standard option of rust from the factory... As someone who lives in the salt belt I hope they are putting in some serious rust prevention methods on this new one. Good...

    iOS/Android app? - Forum Suggestion

App would be great for the forum and integrating it into the vehicle would be awesome as well. May be helpful for people to find solutions for common problems or better ways to use the vehicle almost like a living manual.

    Bed Cap Leer Tanami

Here's a moonshot but this amazing concept Leer worked on with Jesse James during a SEMA show to make a bed cap that can be removable/foldable so the bed can be used when necessary would be amazing. See link:

    Travelall 3 Row

I am all for a smaller one. I think I would prefer a 2 door soft top if I’m honest but I’ll pick my battles lol

    Travelall 3 Row

Create a Travelall version. 3 row, long wheel base (try to keep rear axle as far back as possible for off road but not make it awkward). This with the Harvester range extender would be the perfect vehicle for a big family.
