  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Thanks for the info! I will definitely carve out some time to do that. Just figuring out who to bring with me lol.... Wife - Passenger princess, theoretical secondary driver. Dad - EV curious, good bonding activity The kids don't get a say.

I refuse to commit to a 5 figure purchase without test driving it, probably more than once. the 30 minutes for a tech heavy vehicle feels really tight (and that seems to be the sentiment with those who have gone too)

We have a lot that pop up but if you don't jump on it quickly you miss out (and by the time I coordinate with my better half its gone)

I was really worried that I'd get called over the summer (I've said it before but we had a few unexpected expenses which drained the car fund) and have to pass on it. I'm like 30 minutes from a Rivian Space, so I'm sure that bumped me up a bit earlier (but still behind most current owners...

This puts it at ~60k for a smaller and less offroad capable vehicle than the Scout btw. Just since this is a recurring topic on these forums ;)

Autonomy+ is $2500 tow package is $950 and all-wheel drive only so a +$7000 add on to the standard trim or spend the extra $9000 to go to Premium (plus the cost of the package for both)

I placed it March 8, so ~24 hours after reservations went live. If I end up going to fulfillment, I'll go with the launch package (Performance) since I want the Autonomy+ and tow package included. The * is "Order timelines are estimates only and subject to change."

I went to the Ionna Charging Station that opened in Pembroke Pines and here is some feedback

I think Wawa and Sheetz people would definitely argue it's not just gas station food ;)

I went to the Ionna Charging Station that opened in Pembroke Pines and here is some feedback

We have a spot nearby that has one across the street from the other, ha. I think they each have their positives (Wawa coffee and breakfast, Sheetz pretzel rolls and snacks)

I went to the Ionna Charging Station that opened in Pembroke Pines and here is some feedback

Thats funny, I'm deep in the heart of Wawa country and would rather have Sheetz for a lot of things!

I went to the Ionna Charging Station that opened in Pembroke Pines and here is some feedback

Possibly. Wawa has a standard "layout" for their locations (at least here in PA) and the charging infrastructure wasn't a part of that until recently. In fact, it might not be part of it at all since I've seen some newer locations pop up without them. I get the sense that it's more of a...

I went to the Ionna Charging Station that opened in Pembroke Pines and here is some feedback

Our Wawa/Ionna in PA does not have a canopy either. Although the Tesla chargers on the other side of the lot don't either.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

I posted this article a few weeks ago in the news thread, but just going to reshare it here to reiterate something I have said multiple times: Stop comparing the American (or European) auto industries with China. China's industry is propped up and completely subsidized by the government to push...
