    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

    I stashed away everything that Ford sent during the interminably-long wait for production/delivery. Drawings, flag, playing cards, desk calendar, etc, etc. As Ford kept stating, they wanted to make sure we "stay pumped" :unsure: I'll probably include all that stuff if/when I sell.

    Hood Tie-Downs

    I haven't really had problems with them being "gummed up" in MN...I don't use them often, but they've come in handy a few times and I'm happy to see SM including them.

    What kind of tech do you expect enabled in the car or interface?

    The new Broncos come programmed like this as well, but via Forscan many of us have "hacked" them to also roll up remotely. I believe it's due to liability reasons that the option is there but not necessarily enabled for certain markets. No idea if this is possible with Toyotas.

    Just wanted to revive this old post of mine and thank @Jamie@ScoutMotors for pushing to make this a reality. Orders/deliveries are still a ways off with a lot of unknowns, but with the offer to tie our forum email to reservations, it does seem that SM is doing their best to keep their word (y)

    Somehow I missed this a couple weeks ago, but ? here’s to anything Scout can do to improve on the low bar that Ford set with the Bronco rollout. And an early res period for those around here sounds like a nice start!

    Another likely factor with the ~20% 2-door take rate for the new Bronco is likely that many (most?) of the early reservations were made by enthusiasts. Like me, they may be more likely to desire a 2 door than the masses that will be buying them as we get further from initial production. The...
