  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Route 66 Centennial Road Trip

Just stumbled on this thread. Love the idea and wish you luck. Maybe film some of the adventure and share? One suggestion, make sure you’re familiar with the trailer break and how to use it to control trailer sway. Just because you don’t have any issues driving on your short test runs doesn’t...

    Scout Color Poll #1

All white with a wrap that creates the rallye stripe would look clean. Lunar Rock (yota color) would look really good.

Did anyone else get a little Scout surprise in the mail this week?

Factory Pick Up - Cost and what does it include?

Or the i feel like it wouldn’t be that hard to stand up a little vehicle tracker with updates as it runs through the production line. Like when you order a pizza and you get little updates about the order. Production on your Scout has started. Your Scout is off to Paint Etc.

Scout Concepts are coming home April 18-20, 2026

You could always get a white one and wrap it!

Scout Concepts are coming home April 18-20, 2026

I still think someone needs to be tracking the number of times you say PBY on the forum and hide a sticker in your Scout somewhere with 005977 (or whatever the final count is)

    Scout Production Number Badge

Haha a little yes, but for those that really want PBY (Pale Butter Yellow) paint color someone somewhere at Scout needs to run a search and hide a little sticker with PBY and the number of times they mentioned it somewhere in their new Scout. @cyure

    Scout Production Number Badge

Yep, they do the same here in Texas, nothing like catching the back of your arm on a seatbelt buckle that’s 900° and burns off the hair when it gets you.

    Scout Production Number Badge

Yikes… I have a strict rule in my truck, armrests are for arms, not sunglasses, drinks, or the occasional ketchup packet for your fries. Metal plaques would be a hard no! I’m thinking somewhere below or inside the glovebox not hidden but somewhere people who know would be able to see it.

    Scout Production Number Badge

That would be cool, your Scout would be able to tell its own story (with owner permission to turn on/off location tracking) so it would “unlock” badges at certain mileages or when you visit specific places.

    Scout Production Number Badge

I know we are still a ways out from production, but I remember seeing somewhere that reservation holders and community members would have their order ‘prioritized’ when production starts. My shower thought this morning was that it would be a cool little feature for Scout to include a little...

    Scout Supply Merchandise Live

It was 90° last week here so I won’t need a hoodie for 8-9 months down here!

Maybe they’re going to show up like the old publishers clearing house with yours framed and signed by the Scout design team.

    A Gift From Scout Motors

It’s here! Not sure what day it came, as I was working at the SA Rodeo all weekend but it’s significantly larger than I thought. Going to need to find some wall space.
