  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Could you please rewrite your brilliant post as I have an award winning rebuttal that I’m anxious to start a 10 page debate over

    Forum Migration to new servers

Haha-looks like it cut some off. I’m in London on vacation and I was surrounded by large stone buildings including the hotel which all seems to be marvel, stone, limestone so my bars were low and things were moving very slowly technology-wise

Partnership with local, domestic battery recycler

Welcome to the forum. Like the idea so long as they align with a new battery company as well. What happens if used batteries really last beyond expectations AND Scouts take off like wild fire. There may be a shortage to keep up with demand. I think guessing that Scout will use PowerCo it makes...

Cost and Ease to Repair/Maintain the Traveler and Terra

The bigger question is the 80% driveway fixable for their trained techs OR for the basic mechanic? Would assume that for user but makes you wonder

Make it run on low octane (aka cheaper gas)

No skin in the game on this but when I went from my performance Acura to my Accord hybrid going to low octane was a huge bonus. Not only did I go from 20mpg to like 44mpg yearly average but went down in grade (I ran mid in Acura instead of premium) but save me even more money

Scout Partner with Carmax for Delivery?

I think there was already some discussions on this but don’t recall the thread. Only downfall is I know a handful of people that don’t have good experiences from Carmax but maybe that’s just dumb luck. It could be an option

    Forum Migration to new servers

Mine actually seems slower but in a giant Limestone hotel so perhaps it’s my signal

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I’m sitting in London this week seeing tons of jags. Even the horrid example made while Ford owned them. While I think the new jags don’t read anything like classic Jags, I do find them interesting. I’m curious what the production model will evolve into. I still agree-shame on Jag but curiosity...

Is There Any Comparison Data to Other Brands on GVW, Body Dimensions, Off-Road Angles

I’m sure if you did some digging on the internet you could find enough specs to get a fairly solid baseline and others on here might be able to help fill in missing items

Switching Harvester to All EV Model?

Sorry. I’m on vacation right now so less stress means more twisted humor

Switching Harvester to All EV Model?

Scout Concepts going to IH Scout & Truck Nationals June 13-15, Springfield, Ohio

Uh-yeah…….I uh, um, well I have a YouTube channel too. It’s about driving concept EV vehicles-I just started it and need some content. It’s called (it’s catchy)…” J Alynn drives EV’s”. Would love to stick my cell phone camera on the dash and film myself driving it…. For the fans OF COURSE ...

What Song Will You Play First in Your New Scout?

The video makes it. Otherwise it wouldn’t do a whole lot. Country isn’t my go too but it’s definitely catchy

Yeah-I knew it too. Should’ve thrown @THil08 $1000 to keep his mouth shut ???

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Yeah-hard to be an ICE company and go EV. The diehards b**tch and moan that they sold out and the EV buyers (IMO) don’t believe they can focus enough to make a quality EV. Hyundai seems to be getting it and I think if Toyota/Honda would commit they could make it work but they are so solid with...
