    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    Hi Dana, We do plan to attend in the morning or around lunch time and I believe there will be food trucks there. However, I can see how the kids do and if others are meeting up, can maybe try to figure something out. Not a bad idea to connect and can see who all is going.

    Possibly. Still working on socializing her but she’s done very well lately. She’s a very sweet pup almost 2 now, but gets timid sometimes.

    Where was it implied about different battery packs besides between BEV and EREV? I thought Jamie mentioned on that thread there hasn’t been discussion of a single motor or smaller range battery. Maybe I missed something, but so far only have heard of the 350 range BEV and 150 range EREV battery...

    I love my Tesla key through my phone app, one less thing to carry around and as long as I have my phone I can drive it. I did enable a pin on the touchscreen as well but not losing keys or having them stolen is incredible. I totally get your point also regarding not being able to get...

    Yeah when they first came out, orders were so delayed it was that or wait a year or more at least. Dealers drove the floor models to Costco and you were lucky to see them. Wild times lol

    I’ve actually been considering glass over cabana lately because road noise on highway can be obnoxious. While I do enjoy the open air feel and breeze, we also often get snow here so something I will have to consider.

    Considering they’re sourcing batteries from a company in Canada and engines from Mexico and not actually making either, not sure they would be distracted in building the scout by using solid state if other vendors already have them produced to use by 2028.

    Yes multiple credible articles about a couple different companies offering Solid state by end of next year at scale. Was wondering the same thing if it’ll be an option by 28 etc. the technology sounds promising if they can deliver. At any rate may lower cost of the present alternatives.
