  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Color Wishlist

We had our beloved Bikini Pearl JLUR, Kailani I, and then when the Tuscadero came out we took that opportunity to reset miles and tires, get some added features, and get a fresh look. The 4xe was a bonus(and because at that time I couldn't get it with JUST the 2.0T). But when it came time to...

I as well. Though honestly, we've learned with our Jeeps that the hard tops: Are more expensive if buying after taking delivery. Soft tops you can buy on marketplace fairly well/easily. If you don't order the rig WITH the hard top, things like rear wiper control, rear washer fluid, and rear...

    Wifes Car 😕

Dude, makes her giggle everytime. And the 3 year old daughter loves to come home and show it off. And this is what vehicles should be. Of course we could have a plain-jane Accord... but what fun would that be?

    Buttons vs screens

My only newer vehicle would be our two Jeeps(20 and 21) and TBH it's a bit annoying how redundant the controls are. There's the knobs and buttons, which then ALSO have haptic on the screen. Just on or the other please.

    Scout Design Ideas

Do you have any mockups? Interesting idea, but why wouldn't you go with a Travelall? It's the IH version of the Suburban.

App / Touchscreen Interaction and Ideas

Oh we need to be able to show our color Scout on the screen. Jeep fails at this.

Rivian MTGarage article in latest Motortrend

This is what got me excited and on a different mindframe in regards to EVs: I watched the Tesla Semi presentation. Range anxiety is a VERY real concern for trucking, and Musk's response was along these lines: 85% of trucking routes are regional routes, under 500 miles in a day. With a...

Yup, this tailgate IS the new standard. Everyone else is playing catch-up to this. Now I am curious to the longevity... because if it's weak/not durable AND thousands to fix, then I'll pass.
