  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Harvester towing

It's just a concept. The production ready units will not be ready until 2052 due to the changes needed to meet the Community demands.

My insider said are targeting around $20,000 USD, $250,000 Canadian. And there is a new incentive on the horizon that two groups will help incentivize. The OPEC/DBDC (drill baby drill coalition) are going to offer up to $8 dollars in carbon credits.

I have great news everyone. Scout has heard your impassioned pleas for a vehicle the likes that no one have ever seen or created. All current plans are on hold so the can focus on developing what the people want. I am proud to present some preliminary specs. International Scout Traveler –...

I read that NJ is replacing them with a different brand. Tesla has already put many just off the turnpike. Is that correct?

    Travelall 3 Row

My personal opinion is that it will be a stretched body on the the Terra wheelbase. I think the harvester version will be basically the same as 500 miles of range is way more than enough even if people say they want or need more. I also think the battery in the BEV version will be the same in...

    Size comparison

Have you seen the preliminary dimensions? They are on the main site. The Traveler is very close to the Rivian R1S. The Terra is very close to the F150.

Welcome. I like that idea. That sort of info used to be in owner's manuals in the glove box. But, in the modern era that info should be readily available on the screen.

    Dynamic Power Management

I asked about that at reveal. It is just a concept as well. Just for looks.

    Dynamic Power Management

It is very cool looking. The cord has a woven fabric cover.

This is exactly the scenario and reason for public street level, parking garage, level 2 chargers.

This is normal. It would be very unusual to see DC fast chargers along public streets like that. The level 2 EVSE/charger is the backbone of EV charging. It gives the most bang for the buck and is the most versatile. It can be installed in way more locations for way less money. This would...

I like that idea. Makes a lot of sense for some locations. To many places around me flood though. But, I do think that every power pole, parking meter, light pole, etc. could have a charger on it.
