  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Scout Color Poll #1

I’m not a fan of the white lettering. My DuraTracs have both. White lettering on one side and black lettering on the other. The tire shop turned the white lettering in so the black is front facing. So if that’s how the tires are that I select for my Scout, I’m hoping Scout gives us a...

    Scout! Hear me out!

Welcome to the community! Thanks for jumping into the pool and posting! We are all very excited too! I went to Nationals in June and the SM employee I spoke with stated the concepts are 85% of what the production vehicles are going to be. I started a thread where we can post what...

    Scout Color Poll #1

I had not. I really want to see pale yellow with the roof color that’s on the Traveler concept. I’ll be so glad when we get to see colors. The other day I saw a yellow Bronco sport with a white roof and white rims. I just know I don’t like that. So I don’t think I would like white on...

    Padded door sills

For us shorter people we need a padded arm rest. That works for me in my wrangler. And a padded center console. I always have my arm resting on that console.

Scout Concepts going to IH Scout & Truck Nationals June 13-15, Springfield, Ohio

We drove from Southern California to Illinois when we moved here. 30 hours of driving and we did it in 38. Do not recommend. Then we did a round trip to Southern California in 2023. To California we went through the Rockies and then back to Illinois the Texas route. We did it in a week...

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

We are starting to get to pictures that aren’t duplicates, but pretty close to others. This is what I saw when I first walked up to the Traveler and I can’t wait until I’m walking up to my own!

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

Welcome to the community! I may have already welcomed you, but if I didn’t, welcome. We all have that cost concern. It’s pretty universal. All I can say is I went to Nationals in Ohio in June. I have a thread where I’m still posting pictures, my husband took tons. Anyway, with regard to...
