  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

@cyure can you do that measurement for the front seat? I'm so curious if I could easily get in, even with the 35's or if I'd have to choose a smaller wheel. I really hate running boards. Thank you for the references and the photos!! Big thank you and happy birthday to the hubby as well!!

What do you all do? Curious about Scout buyers occupations, or former occupations.

I'm an Occupational Therapist for the VA, specializing in custom wheelchair prescription. It requires a lot of creativity and problem solving, not quite rocket science, but i love it!

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

I don't know if all cars do this now for safety, but the horn should work even when the car is off. This saved my sister years ago when she was attacked while getting into her vehicle. She was able to lay on the horn to get people's attention. So all those little safety features like approach...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

A place to put my purse! I'm the driver for my dad and my husband so my purse gets relegated to some far off place in the car, or it sits on top of the cup holders. I would also appreciate a super adjustable steering wheel and seats. My lower leg length is not huge but I also like to sit back a...

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

Thanks Dana! Since you're offering... it's all I hear from folks over here in Michigan, that EV's wouldn't handle the serious cold. You're probably even colder in ND! What's your take? I have to drive about 75 miles a day to/ from work, which is not that much, but wasn't sure if the car sits all...

    Emotional connection without engine sound?

I actually hit a cyclist years ago while driving a Prius when he turned right in front of me, not hearing my car. We were going very slowly and he wasn't hurt, but it really upset me. The silence has been my only concern. My father is blind and has used car noise for years while walking and...

Got my merch yesterday, shipped quickly! Love the Nalgene, just wish it fit in my Jeep's cup holders! Hopefully SM can do an extra wide one to accommodate. That, or I go old school with the plastic one that hangs off the window ledge 😀

May I request that the Women's scoop neck T-shirt have some color options? I really like the shirt, but white won't last long for me :giggle:

    Seats made for americans.

Even with the most comfortable seats, I love having the left foot rest that I can push down on and off-load every once in a while! Hopefully that is available!
