  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Rethink Steering Wheel Design?

I think my last 5 vehicles have had the sunglasses holder. Not once have I used it. I’d rather have the compass.

    Lessons Learned on Range Anxiety

I’m pretty sure I’m still at Stage 1 :ROFLMAO: That said, this is why Scout is smart in offering the Harvester package. If I go through with my reservation, it will be a Harvester.

    Optional 37” Tires

    It’s priced like that too!

    Optional 37” Tires

I agree 100%. I had one on my 2012 Power Wagon.

    Optional 37” Tires

    I don’t mind a good set of 40” tires…

winch, stairs/sliders, wheel in the front trunk, mobile sunroof

I had a Raptor before the TRX. If used prices hadn’t gone stupid in 2021 I’d still have it (I got $4,000 more than I paid for it). I liked the Raptor, it was a nice truck. I’m sure if you look, every brand has horror stories (my TRX hasn’t been perfect but I really like it). It’s just a matter...

winch, stairs/sliders, wheel in the front trunk, mobile sunroof

I’m between a Bronco and the Scout Traveler with the Harvester package right now. The Wrangler is cool, but at 6’8” I simply don’t fit in them. The Bronco was the great Jeep compromise because it gave the 90% who thought they wanted the Jeep life but really didn’t a good option.

winch, stairs/sliders, wheel in the front trunk, mobile sunroof

I like the winch idea. However, the electric steps are a problem just waiting to happen, especially if you live in areas that get snow and ice. The idea is great, and when folded up, they look clean. Until they quit working. I’ll take a hard mounted rock slider with a step integrated. I’ve got a...

Ship abandoned off Alaska after electric cars on board catch fire

So how exactly does something like this happen? I know EV’s don’t just randomly start on fire, but we’ve seen this a couple of times. “The vessel is loaded with around 3,000 vehicles, 800 of which are electric vehicles”...

How would you build your Scout?

After daily driving a TRX along with plenty of 500 mile days on the interstate, most vehicles will be quieter to me.

How would you build your Scout?

I think tire tread will have more impact that size. The 35’s on my TRX are considerably quieter than the 31” tires on my wife’s Colorado ZR2. In fact, the stock 35 Goodyear Territory Wrangler was considerably louder than the General Grabber A/Tx I put on a few thousand miles ago.

I look forward to seeing the Terra with the same bumper and wheels.

I don’t think the roof rack has lights on the sides, it that’s pretty easy to add.

I’m headed to the Circle K to buy some lotto tickets. Time to win the Big Piggly Wiggly!

I changed my mind. I’ll take this.

Top Must Features: Auto brake hold, rain sensing windshield wipers, Regen shifter and one petal Regen, roof bars agility, and wireless carplay

It honestly kind of scares me. Kind of like vehicles that park themselves. Maybe I need to expand my horizons?
