  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Front and rear Accessory Bus

There are auxiliary switches in the vehicle for items as you suggest as well as the external outlets currently shown at the rear drivers side for supplemental plug in items. And I’m pretty sure the scouts are using 800 v architecture but I may be wrong

    Scout Color Poll #1

Welcome to the forum. We all enjoy everyone’s thoughts here but there’s been a lot of commentary on most people not wanting neutral colors. The good news is Jamie has pretty much said black and white will be available

    Charging while driving…Wild, irresponsible speculation...

I had a red one drive by as I was getting mail the other day. I’m not generally a fan of red on SUVs but I really liked it in that color

    Charging while driving…Wild, irresponsible speculation...

I gathered during the reveal that pricing wasn’t established because a lot of people were asking and nobody at SM was saying. The simply announced starting prices of suv and truck as both under $60K and since it’s not fully developed they don’t have an actual number. They probably have a good...

    Travelall 3 Row

There was always a touch of curiosity on my end for that concept. Proportionally it is good but visually I struggled.

    Charging while driving…Wild, irresponsible speculation...

Ultimately it’s business and supply and demand. Not sure where your 20% comes in. At just under 60K that’s 10%. That is more than reasonable for a premium upgrade. People need paid for their time. Also-short of acquiring an engine from VW, SM is independent. If VW is doing the engine...

    Charging while driving…Wild, irresponsible speculation...

There has to be a premium. $10K. I think that is high but I can easily see $4K-$6K. From the building industry side of things-you’d be amazed at how many people will pay nearly double the price of a similar product that at COST, is Pennie’s difference. It’s the idea of value and emotion...

    Travelall 3 Row

Agree with pilot set up for flexibility. It comes down to stage of life. My daughters in college, no other kids at home and nearly Never do we have more than 4 in the car so I’d be cool with 2nd row captains chairs but a Honda style works too. I’ll never be in the back unless being hauled to a...

    Travelall 3 Row

I mentioned once before but I had the Acura tsx wagon for a few years and loved it. They had considered adding an upper level with super handling AWD and bigger engine but never did. Dealer told me women would not buy wagons. Said they did t even use them as loaners as so many women hated them...

    Travelall 3 Row

I would have to agree. I would think an awesome single door Bronco/Wrangler sized vehicle would sell way more than an 8 passenger big boy but Americans love there big cars. I blame Cadillac and Chevy of the yester-year variety of cars from the 50’s 🤣

    Easter eggs

Wow-had the Bronco and never realized the buckle was stamped-that’s cool. Love the SC state outline or similar stamped logo. That would be cool. I know Broncos and Jeeps have some cool stuff too. I like the Bronco interior gas cap images. What might be really funny is just literal Easter Eggs...

    Easter eggs

We touched on some of this randomly some time ago but wanted to start a dedicated thread. I’m hoping SM will throw some fun Easter Eggs at the new scouts but short of stealing Jeep ideas, are there any thoughts from anyone? Be creative because with the price of real eggs these days our ideas...

    Front Bench Seat

Welcome to the forum. Discussions have been made that the next likely model will be a 3-row. Whether the bench makes it to that is all yet to be determined. Enjoy the forum and all the info/nonsense it has to offer 😀

    Harvester towing

That would be the premium audio system! I was thinking like 8-10 speakers for the base system. But seeing the flames made me think-will it come with or have optional Nitrous in case a Tesla pulls up next to me and wants to drag race?
