  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

@THil08 - is this the thread you usually use to ask Jamie about monthly progress news? Figured it should be happening soon. Let the wagering begin 😀

    Happy Friday

Just thought we should make an official Happy Friday thread to make days like today easier for @Jamie@ScoutMotors and the SM team! Happy Friday!

    Travelall 3 Row

There are plenty of predecessors but the video I watched it looked nearly identical to the traveler even down to the fold down cover that flips over the gap at the bottom. It just looked very similar to the way SM is doing it.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Well I’d like to say a lot about this but as we are here to talk Scouts I’ll bite my lip. That’s a sad situation from every angle

    New to Scout.

Welcome aboard. @cyure covered everything already so take advantage of the forum. I have calculated at a reasonable speed there is 16 straight days of readable material. I’d encourage to start at the VERY beginning 🤣

What government and private sectors could you see Scout being successful in commercially? (Police, military, S&R, Delivery, etc)

I was big on all those same groups as well. Is there a way that Triple AAA could use the scout’s power to jump a dead battery? That would be cool. Use them as the basic service trucks

Scout Pricing and State Rebate Programs

I think PA should start charging the Amish annual taxes to use the roads. They do more damage than anything else. Even $100 per person since like 8 people per family can drive a buggy. It would give some relief and open up some rebate money for people trying to be greener. Not that buggies with...

Scout Pricing and State Rebate Programs

Would be nice to see a chart with per state rebates. I’m pretty sure PA doesn’t have any-which sucks

Reply-I’m certainly not. Just happy they fairly used the term-decade for development vs next year 😀

    SCOUT TRAVELER FAQ

Other than some of the labeled toggles up top-forget what they are but most of those are for off-road type behavior and handling adjustments

    SCOUT TRAVELER FAQ

Welcome to the crazy train. Enjoy the ride! Not precise but yes to all

    Travelall 3 Row

Did anyone see the redesigned Ford Expedition yet? They completely stole the traveler top hatch and tail gate. Looks damn near identical. Too lazy to post a pic-sorry

    Center Headrest

Agreed but I suspect kids might think otherwise. That’s sacred space for media, juice boxes, hot wheels and toy ponies. Could get ugly back there 🤣

Need to ask gpt to add the Hoff 🤣. Nice work and before @cyure says it….. IT’s YELLOW!!!!!!

APU or CAMP mode on Harvester addition

If you search YouTube for the scout/CES show you’ll find several videos showing a camp mode along with the UX showing a countdown of time/range/battery use to track your ability to get home. As a suggestion to help since you recently joined-there is a search button you can check around with and...

    Center Headrest

So long as it is removable. When only hauling 2 passengers on a regular basis I don’t like the center headrest due to rear visibility. So if it’s removable it’s available for rear center passengers if they need it
