  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

There are several changes I’d make to the Grenadier, and that is definitely one of them. The other would be a small displacement diesel to increase their fuel range like other markets get instead of the BMW straight six gasser out of a 3 Series or Supra GR. I was seriously considering one but...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

They really are designed for people who want the most capable offroad focused vehicle possible. It’s definitely got the look, but in practice it very rugged and really shines off pavement. That being said, there are ways for Ineos to improve the steering system. Ford has solid axles on their...

    Service Center

I think it’s pretty rad that you’ll be able to text them for service at home. In the demo chat bot runs a diagnosis, finds the window regulator went bad and threw an error. Then it found something else the owner wasn’t aware of and asks if the owner wants to address that too. Then the owner...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Comparing it to a Wrangler makes total sense. The Ineos has a solid front axle. Wranglers do as well. The Scout has independent front suspension which usually means a rack and pinion compared to a steering box on solid front axle vehicles. Very different setups and geometry. Solid front...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

But AI farms are the current buzz. Long term… hype will die down and we will have more energy available for the grid. If we can catch up on Thorium reactors I would feel a lot more comfortable with living near one.

Do you think we will see a Travelette (Long Bed Heavy Duty)?

Ahhhh! I just spent the past hour looking up dimensions of these things and writing a comment. The webpage crashed and it’s all gone… But did also come across this little fella. Scout apparently made a Travelall Wagonmaster. A hard top convertible that was pitched as serving double duty as...

Do you think we will see a Travelette (Long Bed Heavy Duty)?

After taking a closer look at this sheet it appears the Travelette Cab only came in the 149” and 164” wheelbase. In the lower left “fine print” the Travelette Cab is designated with the * symbol. But this is still a great way to look at the scale of the Terra. It’s like someone bobbed a 6.5ft...

    Unconventional spokesperson…

In all seriousness I would love for Scout to donate a few Terras to National Park Service and show videos of them using them in their daily routine. Clearing roads of fallen trees with chainsaws and winching them off the trail. Crossing creeks. Putting out fires. Grabbing cold drinks for lost...

Just going off of the specs... Youll have no issue. You could probably still run the Rubicon in a stock one on 35"s with some sliders and willingness to accept minor body damage. (Most sketchy obstacles there have bypasses anyway) The ground clearance is going to be great. Really low center...
