  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Driving Sounds

I was already seriously considering the external speaker disconnect on my last EV. Fortunately for me it never started making artificial noises other than when in reverse so I never needed to. I figure if you're going to own an EV.....own the fact that it's quiet and don't try to make it sound...

Are factory deliveries for reservation holders being considered?

Having purchased a car directly from Tesla in North Carolina....I can assure you that those Dealer Protection Laws do not get in the way. And....I'd be so down for a pickup at the factory. If BMW, Porsche, and Chevy (for the Corvette at the National Corvette Museum) can do it there's no...

Payload and towing with harvester range extender on a Traveler

I reserved a Terra Harvester for the express purpose of replacing my current Tow Rig for my Track Car (as well as being a DD). Really hoping it comes standard with a hitch receiver like every other pickup on the market today. A brake controller is standard on a lot of trucks these days too as...

    Driving Sounds

Please don't add fake noises. I get the regulatory requirements, but beyond that....please no. The sound of the electric motors is enough.....anything else just comes across as silly. Dodge became a laughing stock for this very reason. For the record....I don't like it when ICE cars pump...

What kind of tech do you expect enabled in the car or interface?

    1) Satellite Radio Support - Every other car I've owned has SiriusXM built in. In my Tesla, I had to stream it via the app on my phone over Bluetooth. There is no reason for this. Please, build it into the car. 2) Heated Steering Wheel - I just barely missed this getting integrated into my...
