  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Any official pictures &/or renderings w/a Receiver Hitch?

I thought Traveler was 7,000 lbs towing? I wish it was 8,000!

    Ideas for Harvester

Diesal generators are nice but its easier to find gas in middle of nowhere.

Range extender - please adjust spec to 250 miles of EV Range

More would be nice, but everything involves trade offs. They have to give up some battery space/weight to put a gas tank and engine. I was thinking that by 2027 EV's would be getting around 1,000 miles? We'll see, I know China is one pushing this market.

    Driving Sounds

I want fake v8 sounds or 2 stroke motor cycle as it brings back good memories.

Will Scout be at any Car shows in Jan/Feb? There is a Silicon Valley show in Feb in Santa Clara, could Scout be there?

    Scout Color Poll #1

The scountevforum.com has some interesting colors over there. I like: Tamarak Bronze Amethist Sand Elk Buckskin They got a ton of other colors I assume all just photoshopped onto the press photos.

    Offroad Navigation Integration for Scouts

Sounds really good, I'd like to save my trip and share with friends too. Nice if can load into an app, and add pictures at points of interest etc to make a trip report etc.

    Park and Stop features

I'd like to see the following features when the Scout is parked or is turned off: When parked lower the air suspension to lowest setting (makes easier for short people to get in) [Maybe have setting to disable or disable when in 4x4 mode??] When alarmed/locked have mirrors fold in (Wife likes...

Scout Motors announces in-vehicle satellite connectivity and highlights Scout Community UX interface at CES 2025

Does that gas can have a locking cap? Does the Harvester fuel door lock? I ask because once at a Lake near a high school my truck and about 200 others had Soda put in gas tanks. Most annoying night ever.

Anyone know the size of the tires that were on the Terra Reveal ?

I heard the 33" will fit under the Traveler but 35" requires the spare rear tire carrier. Is that right?

    Any California Events?

I'd like too see some CA events in South Bay Area around San Jose as well.

Any official pictures &/or renderings w/a Receiver Hitch?

For ICE cars a receiver was not enough to tow. You need transmission and oil coolers etc. or you just wear your vehicle out quickly etc. Hopefully the Scout still have all the important EV tower features? Trail brake control, backup assist, camera angles to help, blind spot monitoring for...

    Driver Legroom

Room in general is one reasons I looking at Scout. My bronco is cramped for long trips.

What are y'all hoping Scout Community UX™ might bring?

My main complaints with other UX's is can't use while driving (I have a navigator in passenger seat like 99% of time. And tons of SW bugs or just badly designed UX that is hard to use or just not intuitive.

    Getting to Know Scout

I'd like to see a section in forums that is called "Getting to know Scout" or "Getting to know Traveler" etc. In such a section I'd like to see daily or weekly posts from Scout on a feature where they go in depth on how it works. The Range extender could be an example with a video showing the...

What 16 Metro's Will Scout Launch?

Hopefully 1 in bay area, prefer south bay as I try to avoid SF.

Traveler Ride Quality and NVH Expectations

My wifes bigest complaint about Bronco on road trips is the noise. The Raptor truck is nice and quiet but can be hard to park in cities or other tight parking. She really wants a blend of the two. Comfort of Raptor and size of the bronco, but easier to enter and exit as she is only 5'2".

Tilt & Swivel Mount Infotainment Screen

I like idea, but worried about dependability with screens being a major failure point on laptops. Like my last 10 all died due to screen failure. A couple Chinese brands have rotation screens (i worry about that too) I do like the roof over screen, I hate screens that are open to glare. My...

Option to turn off center display

They have a Detox mode that gives a quieter and simpler display with only important info. I think that will work most of times, but most screens have an OFF button as well that gives what you are asking for?
