Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     I understand that and I truly hope everyone waits to see final numbers on the harvester before they cancel. Regardless if you go EV or harvester one will liklely need to stop and charge. With harvester it will be more then 200 (while towing) but not a huge amount more. Even if the Harvester does...

    That's fairly close to the 5,000 that was thrown out there by Scott for the Traveler Harvester. My hope is the that will grow to 6.5 k (decent tow capacity for any mid sized suv). Maybe even up to 8k for Terra Harvester 🤞

    Quick question; there are 780 or so votes on this thread but over 50,000 official reservations. My apologies for being to lazy to search. Is it officially posted anywhere if the official reservation are equally as dominant toward the Harvester models?

    Great points because if Riv is way more expensive I may be forced to choose Terra regardless of range and tech. I will add that if SM has an option for auto air leveling i would want that regardless of cost. The switches are important as well but maybe not a deal killer for me.

    One thing I will mention is that my plan from the get go is to compare the Terra Total EV to the Riven in 2028. If Rivian continues to add range and ev battery technology and SM puts to much energy into the Harvester and slacks on EV then I may go Riv.

    Totally agree as that is a worry of mine. I understand SM needs to sell what folks want but hopefully the Rivian influence will keep them focused on the latest and greatest technology for full ev vehicles.

    Beer question sorry as it's off topic. So the goofy laws here in Utah won't let breweries sell any beer in kegs over 5%. So all breweries have to can or bottle there beer and sell it at State run liquor stores. So if a brewery has a bar they can only sell 5% beer on tap. Same for any bar owner...
