  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

I have yet to test out the K03’s. Are they any different then K02’s?

I would assume it was designed to align with the Rallye graphics. Also agree, Chevy wouldn’t care whatsoever like how Scout does. I mean look what happened to the Blazer

I’m actually really excited for this feature. This will definitely help those in the deep wilderness get a hold of data to observe the surrounding area. As for the Traveler that’s being shown, I am excited to see all the added goodies on the model. Really looking forward to the Rallye stripes!

    360 Camera Auto On

This would be great actually. Would help with a lot of off roading and or driving. Would also be great to not take up the full screen. Think more like how you can do a Picture in Picture for your IPhone maybe at the top left for driver and you can swipe between passenger and driver

    Jeep Recon

I feel like the Recon is Jeep’s way of making a Future Wrangler without the name Wrangler attached to. Mind you, Jeep will also make a Wrangler EV at some point but why have 2 cars that are almost identical to each other when you can have 1 I.e. an Electric Wrangler.

2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger Production Run Will Be Short

I’m just happy that Carlos Retired from the company. What a mess he made.

2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger Production Run Will Be Short

I feel that the V8 could go back into the Ram’s but not Dodge products or at least the Charger. They already confirmed that they would have to redesign/reengineer the whole model just to fit it. One thing I like about the Ramcharger was that it was EV W/range extender. Glad Scout went the way...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I don’t know if this has been mentioned already but I would love to see DRL’s that you can switch between White and Amber.

What are you driving until release?

2024 Ford Escape Active. This is a betweener car till I get the Traveler

Road Trip in a VW Buzz: Success or Train Wreck

From my understanding is that CCS is the Standard for EU it just took a long long time in the states to figure which one to go with so that’s why everybody shifted to NACS.

Greeting From Novi, Michigan. Scout Motors Innovation Center

My GF recently stopped by to check out the Innovation Center. She’s been super super supportive with me getting the Scout Traveler and was happy to stop by and take a few photos for me. I remember seeing early photos having the exterior have a neon green color but looks like they have switched...

Road Trip in a VW Buzz: Success or Train Wreck

Remember a lot of brand will be updating their charge ports. I.e. Hyundai/Kia/Genesis already have shown off Ioniq 5, GV70 EV and EV9 with NACS standard now. At the first steps, switching to NACS was Adapters for current CCS models but CCS will be phased out with new generation or refreshes.

Road Trip in a VW Buzz: Success or Train Wreck

I have been doing more and more research about charging electric vehicles and also watching out of spec reviews. I’m so happy that Scout chose to have NACS from the start rather than have CCS. Also looking at IONNA charging, I can’t wait to see more of those pop up around the US since they carry...

Saw This Beautiful Scout II With An LS3 Supercharger Swap!

it really is a sick Scout ii! The roof was more of an off white but the camera didn’t catch it correctly. It also sounded so so good.
