  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Scout Color Poll #1

The green one on my street is definitely a matte finish. I guess it could be a wrap, a lot of that going on down here.

Some have expressed an interest in matte finish. However, nothing is settled on color or finish at this time. Welcome to the community.

Is There Any Comparison Data to Other Brands on GVW, Body Dimensions, Off-Road Angles

I think they were. If you didn't need them they folded flat and in goes the luggage. We had a roof top carrier.

Your state’s 24 hours in a day in the life of a Scout adventure

If DTC clears up in SC and the weather is good, we, my wife and our two dogs, will pick up our Traveler then head to our friends in Mill Spring, NC and spend some time horseback riding and catching up. Then we will head for Traverse city Michigan to visit with our family. Our family has a...

Our colony Park version had those seats in the way back that faced each other, plenty room for four kids. Plus the bench back seat.

Growing up the family ride was a 1962 Mercury Station wagon that I always thought was massive. I had to look it up but it was 215.5" Long and 79.5" Wide. Kind of Terra size. But with a lot more seats.

    Scout Color Poll #1

Does Rivian have some variation of that green? There is a green Rivian down the street that looks to be the same color but it is Flat not Gloss. Looks a little military.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Here in Florida golf carts are big. Four seat up eight seat, some even pull trailers that are extra seating when company comes to town. We have a four seat golf cart. We are close to the beach so we take the cart rather than carry the beach chairs, umbrella & cooler. Our dogs get a cart ride...

That blue/Gray is really sharp. When we can finally build one online I will definitely check out this color. Right now I am in the Copper camp for my traveler.

What's it like to take a road trip in a truck like the Terra (F-150 Lightning)?

What a great photo. I think I might frame that.

    Interior accent color

That’s a great idea! A Scout always uses a compass, whether it’s the one in their head or the one in their hand.

What is More Important? - EV Charge Time or EV Range

Thank you. Good information to maybe ease a little range anxiety. Lets hope that 50 mile map fills in even more in the next 2.5 years.
