  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

What feature(s) do you hope that Scout does NOT include?

Welcome to the community. That’s the beauty of Scout. We get 3 options. Solid, glass or cabana that opens. I’m all in on glass.

I wish they would do an old fashioned brochure. No one does those anymore and I like having them for the cars I buy. Our Supra I even had the window sticker framed with pictures of the car for my husband for his office.

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

Oh no this is not off topic at all and very helpful info as far as I’m concerned.

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

When little groceries first. When I had 2 little ones I would put them in the car if I was close enough to the cart return. I did have one time where I accidentally locked the keys in the car when my kids were 3 and a baby. Horrifying. Thankfully my 3 year old wasn’t buckled into his seat...

    Scout Deal Breakers

That cabana top reminds me of the sky active roof on a Wrangler. Are there any complaints of that not being able to hold up to snow? I think that would be the closest comparison. I need to go test drive one of those with that roof to see what it’s like.

    Scout Deal Breakers

For me it would just have to really take a left turn from what they have shown so far. As long as they stay true to what the concept is I’m happy as a clam. And everyone seems to have the same theory on price. I have seen that $70 to $80 number multiple times. I’m hoping to stay closer to the...

    Scout Color Poll #1

It’s funny. You and I are very similar when it comes to colors. So I saw this car in town last year. This was like the BMW I had back in the day. Not quite as dark and a little more purple in it than the Aston but same idea. And I had tan interior in it. We were color buddies!

Is that a a deep burgundy? Aston Martins are gorgeous. And hey! I thought we were team color that shall not be named! 😹

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

I can’t take credit for this idea but I liked it. I test drove the Ineos Grenadier and they have a little red button with a bicycle on it on the steering wheel. It’s the “toot” horn. It’s lower volume and shorter so you don’t scare the bicyclists to death. Just thought it was a good idea.

I can’t wait till they are close enough to me to see them. Ohio is a 4-1/2 hour drive each way. I’m really considering that one.

    Terra - Roof Top Option

It makes sense but al la carte would be awesome.

Welcome to the forum. The two events that SM has confirmed are that festival in Denver at the end of May and the IHS even in Ohio middle of June. @Jamie@ScoutMotors is a great follow. He runs things around here and keeps us updated on the goings on.

Is there a reason it needs to be locked. It’s not like people can steal your electricity, right? Is there something this non-EV owner isn’t considering?
